Prototype: Merr-Sonn 773 Firepuncher

The Merr-Sonn 773 Firepuncher is a Blaster Sniper Rifle manufactured by Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc around the time of the Clone Wars. It features an ablative coating across its surface, and an alternate wide-beam burning mode that reduces overall damage output in order to increase armor penetration of its shots. It has several configurations, from removing the main barrel for short range fire to including an optional tripod useful for stability in long range shots up to 2000 meters. The Clone Force 99 sniper Crosshair used one of these rifles.

Whispershot Suppressor (Blaster Weapon Enhancement - II)

Merr-Sonn 773 Firepuncher has been modified with a whispershot silencer, allowing this Merr-Sonn 773 Firepuncher to completely eliminate the noise produced by the gas agitation and injection.

D3x macroscope (Blaster Weapon TargettIng Enhancement - II)

The top of this Merr-Sonn 773 Firepuncher has been fitted with a D3x macroscope, allowing Merr-Sonn 773 Firepuncher up to 3x zoom with three adjustment levels of magnification.
