Prototype: Dark Trooper Droid
The Dark Trooper Droid is a large humanoid-shaped Combat Droid of Imperial design. They are primarily covered in black and silver plating, with red photoreceptors. Dark Troopers are immensely strong, have thick armor able to withstand blaster fire, and have a rocket booster installed on the base of each foot. Their necks are unarmored. Moff Gideon's Imperial Remnant was known to deploy droids of this type.
Dark Trooper Droid has been fitted with a built-in SCOMP link, allowing this Dark Trooper Droid to slice into various types of terminals and droids.
This Dark Trooper Droid has been upgraded with an experimental electrical defense grid that allows Dark Trooper Droid to operate at normal capacity when hit with ionized electricity, and prevents any permanent damage or loss of functionality.
Dark Trooper Droid has developed a personality revolving around analytics with no room for imagination. This results in a myriad of statistics and rules of logic being delivered routinely. Such a personality can be grating on others, and often is greeted with annoyance.
Dark Trooper Droid has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this Dark Trooper Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
Dark Trooper Droid has been programmed with greatly improved combat protocols, allowing it to perform much better in multiple combat scenarios when compared to other Dark Trooper Droids.
