The BT-16 Perimeter Droid is a large, spider-like droid manufactured by Arakyd Industries. It is equipped with a variety of sensor packages including a seismic reader and a motion detector. It is also armed with a repeating blaster cannon, a communication module, and a vocabulator capable of droid languages.

BT-SL13R "Sleipnir" has been fitted with a built-in comlink, allowing it to access and communicate over various communications networks without additional gear.
