Prototype: Prod Pistol

The Prod Pistol is a Projectile weapon that is a miniaturized crossbow, able to be wielded with one hand. It fires a small prod, and is made from components of an SE-14r Light Repeating Blaster.

Blackout (Ranged Weapon Cosmetic)

Prod Pistol has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this Prod Pistol to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.

D3x Macroscope (Projectile Weapon Targeting Upgrade - II)

The top of this Prod Pistol has been fitted with a D3x macroscope, allowing Prod Pistol up to 3x zoom with three adjustment levels of magnification.

Lightweight Frame (Projectile Weapon Enhancement - I)

The frame of this Prod Pistol has been constructed with lighter alloy materials and a reduction in excess components, making Prod Pistol easier to handle.

Cryo-ban Arrow (Projectile Weapon Ammunition - II)

The ammunition on this Prod Pistol has been swapped out with arrows with a cryo-ban explosive tip that explode on impact, collecting and freezing any moisture in an area so swiftly that the resulting violent explosion sends shards of ice in all directions. The cold itself can also damage droids, electronics, vehicles or other equipment not adapted for cold-weather use.
