The TIE Interceptor Squadron is a space unit that consists of twelve TIE Interceptors, along with trained pilots to fly them including a command element made up of a commander and an executive officer. As well as a small team of mechanics and engineers to maintain and operate the starfighters. Squadrons can operate out of capital ships that have hangar space for them, or independently.
Flux Squadron has been coated in a thin layer of a chromium alloy that warps light when it hits it instead of cleanly reflecting it, giving the hull a bright, shiny finish that refracts a multitude of colors. This chromatic coloring gives this TIE Interceptor Squadron an unmistakable "rainbow" appearance that draws attention wherever it goes.
