The Ion Mine Field is a static array defense weapon. Produced by Arakyd Industries, the standard mine is 15.48 meters long. Mines are unshielded and they are equipped with one omnidirectional ion cannon, designed for starfighter defense. Mines are also equipped with a collision detonated explosive, which is effective against capital ships. The mine field has 10 ion mines.
