The Bantha II-class Cargo Skiff Platoon is a troop transport unit that consists of eight Bantha II-class Cargo Skiffs, along with eight pilots, eight technicians, and four mechanics to operate and maintain them. Re-designed from a cargo transport for personnel, it lacks any armor and leaves its passengers and crew completely exposed. Operated by the pilots in the platoon, each can carry 16 passengers allowing the platoon to carry 128 soldiers or passengers. It found use primarily by criminal organizations like the Hutts.
