Prototype: B2-RP Rocket Droid
The B2-RP Rocket Droid is an advanced Combat Droid that is an upgraded version of the regular B2 Battle Droid. They share the same appearance as their predecessors, but feature a jetpack composed of two bulky throsters attached to the shoulders that is supplemented with smaller thrusters attached to the droid's ankles. B2 Super Rocket Troopers utilize two heavily-upgraded wrist-mounted laser cannons with four barrels on each, making them a formidable enemy. They were used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems in the late stages of the Clone Wars.
B2-RP Rocket Droid has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this B2-RP Rocket Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
B2-RP Rocket Droid has developed a predatory nature similar to those often associated with assassin droids. As a result, B2-RP Rocket Droid will often approach a situation with the mind set of a hunter, and convey their findings as such. This can be disconcerting to others who are unaccustomed to B2-RP Rocket Droid.
B2-RP Rocket Droid has been modified from the standard design with experimental components, allowing this B2-RP Rocket Droid to move at an unmatched rate of speed compared to other B2-RP Rocket Droid.
A carbonite projector has been fitted to B2-RP Rocket Droid, allowing this B2-RP Rocket Droid to launch liquid cold carbonite at a target and temporarily freeze them in place or slow them down.
This B2-RP Rocket Droid has been equipped with a flamethrower attachment, allowing it to shoot a circular cone 5 meters long of superheated plasma.
