The IR-3F-class Light Frigate is a 110-meter long Corvette designed by Sienar Fleet Systems for system and planetary patrols. Unlike other frigates similar to it, this frigate did not have hyperdrive capability which requires it to operate within a specific radius of its home base of operations. Despite being unable to enter hyperspace, it made up for this with exceptional speed and high maneuverability, with average armor and shields.
