The MLC-3 Mobile Laser Cannon Platoon is an armored ground unit that consists of eight MLC-3 Mobile Laser Cannons, along with sixteen crew to operate them including a command element consisting of a commander and executive officer. The platoon also possesses a transport vehicle with spare parts for the armor, and a team of six mechanics and eight technicians with specialized training in the specific vehicles in the platoon.
