Prototype: Phrik Electro-staff

The Phrik Electro-staff is a pole-like melee weapon that was used by the IG-100 MagnaGuard droids during the Clone Wars. The electrically charged tips on either end of the staff can can be set to either a "stun" setting or a deadly discharge that could stop a sentient's heart after five full seconds of contact.

This Phrik Electro-staff has been constructed out of nearly indestructible phrik alloy. This phrik alloy allows Regent's Rarities to use their Phrik Electro-staff to resist blaster and lightsaber attacks.

The handle of this weapon is equipped with a generator that sends constant electromagnetic pulses to the weapon's striking surface during use. While active, the striking surface of [this item] can parry lightsaber blades; however, the rest of the weapon is vulnerable to a lightsaber's plasma blade.

The chassis of this Phrik Electro-staff has been modified to be broken down into smaller pieces by detaching larger segments from one another, allowing Phrik Electro-staff to be more easily carried.

Arakyd 900 Gene-Lock + Trapped Handle (Blunt Weapon Handle Upgrade - III)

The handle on this Phrik Electro-staff has been modified with a cell recognizer and trapped handle. When an unauthorized user grabs Phrik Electro-staff, several spikes erupt from the hilt and stab the holder's hand.
