The Delta-7B Aethersprite-class "Virtuous Edition" Light Interceptor is an 8-meter long Starfighter that is a modified version of the Delta-7B Aethersprite-class Light Interceptor. Hyperdrive capable, this vessel has exceptional maneuverability and speed, with average armor and shielding. A high-speed, high maneuverability version of the regular Delta-7B thanks to improved ion engines and a new reactor, this vessel has additional weaponry hidden behind breakaway panels in the wings, a current-age communication and sensor array to provide better situational awareness on the battlefield, and a miniaturized built-in hyperdrive with a limited number of programmed jumps to eliminate the hyperspace ring.

Delta-7B Aethersprite-class Light Interceptor "Ranger 3" has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. Matte-green accents outlining the vessel have also been added for a more personal touch, but can only be viewed when closer to the vessel.
