The ST-series Military Tactical Droid, otherwise known as the Super Tactical Droid, was an analysis-combat droid model manufactured by Baktoid Combat Automata and used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars as military advisors and generals for their superior officers. Due to the inflexibility and predictable deficiencies of the T-series Military Tactical Droid, the ST-series was produced as the solution. It has greater strategical processing and intelligence, better tactical analysis, superior armor plating, magnatomic grip panels, and other systems over the traditional T-series droids.
The experimental memory upgrade provides quantum computing power to this ST-series Military Super Tactical Droid, allowing it to perform complex analytical operations at an incredibly faster rate than before.
ST-series Military Super Tactical Droid has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this ST-series Military Super Tactical Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
This ST-series Military Super Tactical Droid has had most of its combat protocols wiped and replaced with piloting protocols, providing ST-series Military Super Tactical Droid with the astrogation ability to serve as a basic combat pilot or gunner.
