Droideka

Prototype: Droideka

The Droideka, also known as a Destroyer Droid, is a Combat Droid designed to exterminate adversaries with extreme prejudice. They had an arched body, walking on three legs with two arms that each featured a dual repeating blaster cannon. They could transform their shape by curling into a ball, traveling up to seventy-five kilometers per hour across a surface. When standing on their legs they could deploy a powerful polarized and phased deflector shield using a generator integrated into their bodies, allowing their own attacks to travel out, but render sidearms or blasters ineffective. Their shields were ineffective against slow or stationary objects, and they are blind from behind. The Colicoid Creation Nest applied the same design characteristics of the Droideka to build the Scorpenek.

Splash Of Color (Droid Cosmetic)

Droideka makes a mark that is immediately apparent upon first setting eyes upon it. Looking like the victim of an explosion of color, Droideka is covered in multi-hued designs and patterns utilizing as many variations as possible. While appearing to be random upon first glance, there is a certain uniformity to the chaotic display of the artist.

Standard Issue (Droid Personality)

Droideka is subjected to frequent memory wipes, and has little to nothing in the way of personality. It acts according to its basic programming in an efficient and impersonal manner.

Upgraded Processor (Experimental) (Droid Enhancement Upgrade - III)

The experimental memory upgrade provides quantum computing power to this Droideka, allowing it to perform complex analytical operations at an incredibly faster rate than before.

Gravity Generator (Advanced) (Droid Structural Upgrade - III)

Droideka has been fitted with an advanced gravity generator with an unregulated governor, allowing this Droideka to create an incredibly powerful gravity swell that increases the weight of an enemy and dramatically slows an enemy.

Shield Disruptor (Advanced) (Combat Droid Upgrade - III)

This Droideka has had an advanced shield disruptor installed on its chassis, allowing Droideka to disrupt various shields and pass through them unscathed.
