Prototype: BD-unit "Survivor Edition" Backpack Droid
The BD-unit "Survivor Edition" Backpack Droid is a modified version of the BD-unit Backpack Droid. It has been fitted with additional tools and resources such as a macrobinocular "BD Vision" mode that allows a person to look through their photoreceptors and highlight targets and destinations, a stim dispenser, a thruster for hovering and quick bursts, a droid hacking matrix, and more powerful computer access and slicing link.
There can be no mistaking BUDD-E (Buddy) for any other BD-unit "Survivor Edition" Backpack Droid. The droid's plating has been painstakingly coated in an application of chrome. The resulting appearance is a highly reflective silver coating that runs the risk of showing each and every minor scratch it endures.
This BD-unit "Survivor Edition" Backpack Droid has been fitted with a small extendable electro-shock prod, enabling it to stun or shock enemy targets within melee distance.
