The Bothan Assault Cruiser is a 850-meter long Capitol Ship manufactured by Bothawui Shipyards, the Bothan Assault Cruiser was designed as a smaller replacement for the aging Victory-class Star Destroyer with heavier defense capabilities. In addition to an array of weapon emplacements, the cruiser's two hangars are capable of carrying four squadrons of starfighters. Dorsal and ventral hangars are located amidships and fitted with launch apertures that allow for flexible deployment and rapid recovery. Bothan Assault Cruisers also contain rear meditation cabins, equipped with transparisteel arches for viewing space. Hyperdrive capable, this vessel has average maneuverability and speed with heavy armor and shielding.
