The Synergy CX-17m ICWS is a fully contained interchangeable combat weapons system based off of the BlasTech DC-17m Blaster Rifle and accompanying ICWS components. The design has been enhanced with ascendant crystal technology to give it a higher rate of fire and much more penetrating shot, with no need for power packs. It bears a similar design to the BlasTech model and comes with all three configurations, with the anti-armor configuration relying on the user’s Explosives skill, suitable for both medium and long-range combat.
Synergy CX-17m ICWS has seen combat, and it shows, with blaster marks scarring the body on the weapon, and minor damage in the form of scratches and dents unrepaired since they had no impact on the functionality of this Synergy CX-17m ICWS.
The ammunition on this Synergy CX-17m ICWS has been swapped with explosives fitted with a droid brain and ordinance impeller, allowing the explosives fired from Synergy CX-17m ICWS to travel across land at the same speed of a humanoid's walk and detonate exactly when and where the wielder desires.
