Prototype: Lightdagger
The Lightdagger is a small and specialized lightsaber variant, much shorter than a traditional lightsaber and even shorter than the shoto lightsaber. Traditional lightsaber components have been downsized greatly into a small hilt, and produces a blade a maximum of twelve inches long powered by crystals that determine its characteristics and color. While it lacks the reach of a traditional lightsaber, the smaller hilt is much easier to conceal and shorter blade quicker to maneuver. It is capable of cutting through virtually anything, including blast doors, given enough time.
"Hush" has been modified so that it can be typically stored inside a specialized accompanying sheath that conceals the majority of this Lightdagger using optical camouflage technology.
This lightsaber is equipped with a pressure-sensitive grip instead of a traditional activation switch, allowing it to be activated by applying pressure to the grip, and deactivates if the hilt is released.
The curved hilt of this Lightdagger is kept in the style of a large hunting knife - black horn grip scales and matte bronze parry and pommel elements, with a literal trigger switch for the index. The blade is an unapologetic 12 inches of the darkest blue Jorm could reasonably tune out of the crystal.
