Farrin has reddish-brown hair with patches of gray beginning to appear freely. Along with his beard, it shows a long period of not having been maintained, lending him an overall unkempt appearance. His eyes, like jade, sparkle with intelligence. His pale skin is taut on his frame and its coloration suggests someone who has not seen much of the sun in some time. Without a doubt, his most definitive characteristics are the slight limp he walks with as well as a "notch" missing from the top of his right ear.
Farrin carries his lightsaber and a DL-17 blaster pistol on him at all times in battle.
Farrin Xies's life is filled with training and learning for all sorts of situations, from the mind-numbingly normal to the utterly bizarre. As such, Farrin Xies has developed into a rather resourceful individual. This has made Farrin Xies a mix of academic and scholar, always with something to offer to any discussion. However, knowledge and training does not always translate well to the tense environment of the battlefield, and no amount of textbooks can prepare one for reality...
Farrin Xies will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, he will stick to the shadows or cloak himself in the Force. The less he is seen, the better. If he cannot sneak up on someone, then Farrin Xies will not bother confronting them.
While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Farrin Xies's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.
Farrin Xies prefers to push the rules to the absolute limit. While he is unlikely to actually break rules or disobey orders, he toes the line between what is allowed and what isn't at every opportunity.
Farrin Xies has an uncanny knack for identifying traps and alerting others to them. Now, if only he could consistently do it BEFORE the trap goes off...
When Farrin Xies gets in trouble, he finds no fault in bravely turning tail and getting the hell out of dodge. Obviously, this means that he tends to survive even the most deadly encounters... but the same can't always be said for his compatriots. This fact hasn't exactly made him the most popular among his peers, but hey, at least Farrin Xies isn't dead yet.
