Medal Request: Steel Cross DJK Kara Rohana (10057)

Our awesome flight leader Kara Rohana has continued to give a high level of activity to the house, clan and battle team, I believe she is ready to get a Steel Cross.

Kara has been consecutively active in the brotherhood; She has participated in the following competitions in a month: The Photo, Honour Guard, Quick Turkey Poem, Give Braecen the Bird, Give Thanks, Turkey to go, Turkey Rescue, Turkey Panic, Love or Lost, Caption Contest week 2, Caption Contest week 3, Braecen Said What Week 3. Along with her activity as Flight Leader, including learning how to write reports, and the constant level on IRC she proves, as well as the constant ability to motivate members. She has also collected the following medals with speed: 4 Emerald Star's 3 Quartz Star's. 2 Sapphire Star's, 3 Topaz Stars.

Kara constant activity on IRC has been an icon for other members to strive for. As well as her constant ability to encourage everyone around her, from members in the team to the house and even clan to have a single focus. Creating a motivated environment in the clan thanks to the dark jedi knight.

Kara Rohana has also stretched out and helped members via email, forum and started to participate in both of these. Additionally while the position of Consul's Aide has taken most of my attention, she has been there and it has fallen to Kara Rohana to drive the team forward, this flight leader has really stepped up to the challenge. As well as running several battle team and House Competitions to this day, she continued to try and do as much as she can for the house. The list is long but this is just a small token of our appreciation for this member.

Kara Rohana continued to this day to be a big driving force in Exar's Shadow, House Exar Kun and Clan Plagueis, I look forward to seeing her continue to provided activity inside the Clan

I would like to Award Kaira Rohana with a Steel Cross for her hard work and effort she has constantly put in to working as Roll Master. Whilst I was serving as Aedile in Satal Keto, she kept regular contact with the Journeymen, successfully did all her duties including running competitions and help with projects regarding the Master and Student program. She would always email me or Kal regarding new members as well as if she ever needed any help. When there was a big change of leadership in the Clan, myself being promoted to Quaestor of Exar Kun, Kaira flourished as Clan Roll Master. She continued her duties excellently for both Houses, helped in trying to re-establish the Master and Student program back with Exar Kun, welcomed new members and ran regular competitions for both Houses.

All together within her service as House and Clan Roll Master, Kaira has run a total of 18 competitions that have all had a very good turnout. She had hosted Halloween based ones such as [PLA] Halloween colouring contest, Christmas based ones such as [PLA] What Does Christmas Mean To You and finally a variety competitions built on character development such as [HSK] Being a Journeyman or [HSK] Emotions of a Dark Jedi.

Kaira has also helped many Journeymen with their trial related tasks, she has explained many aspects within the Dark Brotherhood to them and has helped many of them progress through the ranks. She has taken the time to greet each one by email, and has fully pledged herself in helping them during their time as a Journeyman. Also she has kept a close eye on the Master and Student program by updating it every now and then, requesting new students and master from the Clan and by asking for regular reports from each Master about their student’s progress. She has also kept up a well renounced IRC presence, along with a quick email turn around most likely less that, meaning she is regularly there to give anyone a helping hand.

With someone else stepping in to fill the role of Exar Kun’s Roll Master, I would like to thank Kaira for her service not only for our House, but for the whole of Clan Plagueis. Thank you Kaira, I hope you keep up the hard work.

Kaira has been a really active supporter and gamer within the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, she has come up with ideas for competitions for me to run. While we had discussions for the Rites of Combats with each clan she was overwhelming supporting and very active in all aspects of the discussion. She has also been really active in her clan promoting each competition that I have ran and hosted. She also submitted a report banner for me during my competition, getting 3rd place. She has been also searching for help regarding command lines for the republic commando server, shes tested several maps and gave me feedback on each map in details. Played in every gaming competition that has been hosted, even going as far as 161 matches just in the month of may, with a really impressive win loss record of 102 wins and 59 losses. Another feat she did was totally dominate the Battle Front 2 competition cleaning house with over 100 clusters of fire, 2 pennant of bloods, and 2 first place crescents. I have also relayed on Kaira as an outside opinion to anything I need an opinion. Shes been there to help test stuff on the RC server when I needed help. Also she has wrote a critique some documents when I needed someone to take care of picking something apart. Her major contribution was all the effort she puts into making the nessacary changes to the Rites of Combat, and also was the person to suggest that I allow the clans to be involved with changes and suggestions. I cannot thank Kaira enough for all her help in the last two months. During the Battle Front 2 competition she had a super presence to motivate people to remain active, also doing the same for the RC gaming competition. I would recommend that Kaira be awarded a Steel Cross for all her support, contributions, and efforts to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and gaming staff. Coupled with her duties as Clan Rollmaster for Clan Plagueis, she has been extremely active and I only think that this is the least we can give out to say thank you for all her hard work.

Oh Kaira, she’s like the mother hen of House Odan-Urr; a definite staple and iconic personality of the House, I am glad to be writing this recommendation on her behalf and for the receipt of a Steel Cross. Her presence not only speaks volumes of her good character but her activity track gains her the merit for which this recommendation, and the ones following stand basis for. Her valued insight, ideas, and veteranhood afford her the status of asset among her peers.

Kaira is herself at the head of a role-playing guide project for the house. The project is currently still under production but will comprise of summations integral for members to become familiar with the Jedi/HOU fictional fabric necessary for participation in our domestic story arcs. Her role has been that of project overseer, coming up with a wide range concepts dealing with New Tythons flora & fauna much as would an archivist do. Her leadership and delegation of duties to her crew of volunteers has produced a veritable amount of quality work for implementation into the guide. Apart from the guide Kaira has also in the past year taken her student to Journeyman 8 as well as has taken on a new student Sight Nortorshin, she is a constant presence on IRC and the googlegroup, participates in unit-discussions and demonstrates a zeal to participate unseen in many.

She has also been an active participant in the ongoing Dark Crusades event for which she has successfully participated in a number of events spanning the Krayiss II and Khar Delba theatres including fictions, graphics, run-ons, and the Shadow Academy events. She is a functional and participating team member having collaborated in extent with the house Run-on team and is also a member of the Knights of Allusis Jedi Strike-Team. Kaira has been an integral asset to House Odan-Urr through her hard work and dedication towards establishing House Odan-Urr through various projects as a successful unit, dedicated towards fun and being the underdogs of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Working alongside Raiju, Kaira has brought in an influx of previously inactive members from the rogues, managing them as well as orienting them within Jedi society. She has also been tireless in her efforts to participate in Vendetta competitions for Dark Crusade. That said, I would gladly reccomend some award to offer as recognition for her services to her house, and the Brotherhood as a whole.- AED Morotheri Mithfaron

Who is always the first to help with a project or just hang out on IRC? The same person who takes it upon herself to create projects of her own to better the experience of our houses members. The same person who has been at the forefront of every event and competition this house faces, for as long as I can remember. Kaira is a name that people directly associate with Odan-urr. She is the type of leader that doesn’t need to be positioned to inspire the house, she’s always the first we can count on to participate, the first to strike up conversation on the mailing list or chat room, and the first to look around and grab another member and pull them into something she is having enjoyment doing so others can share in it. Recently Kaira has assisted myself with several projects involving the creation of the Knights of Allusis and our Super Secret Project, where in both projects she was one of the few I could count on to get the job done and help me sort out the next big thing we could do. She seemed to always go above and beyond what I asked of her, and then demanded more of herself like when she started the RPG guide for the house so others could become more familiar with the concept. Those that we count on daily for the livelihood of the house need to be recognized and rewarded as much as possible and as such, I recommend this for Kaira. – Raiju Kang
