In the Great Jedi War, Plagueis moved from 6th Place overall up to 4th and contended for a higher position through most of the War, even holding 2nd Place at one point. Many of the Members of Plagueis did extremely well.

Sang helped Plagueis in the Great Jedi War by receiving 8 Seals of Unity, being the leading member to contribute to Clan Plagueis's 2nd Place finish in the Run-On Event, and placed 7th in the ACC's Versus Battle. Thanks for all your hard work, Sang.

Primary reason

I know Sang doesn't want this award. He thinks everyone else should get nice things and he shouldn't. I'm sure that's some silly Jedi thing, so naturally, I'm going to ignore it.

Since his elevation on November 6th, Sang has continued to serve Naga Sadow in the most dedicated fashion. He served as Quaestor for an additional four months and has been Proconsul for a little over one. And of course, that entire time he was a Shadow Academy Professor. In that time, he has had stellar activity over a wide range of activities and greatly supported the Clan and Brotherhood.

As Quaestor, evidence of Sang's efforts show in that, when he became Proconsul, his Aedile took over his job and she has done a wonderful job. I know from speaking with both of them that Sang is an excellent teacher and it is in no small part because of him that we were able to easily transition a new leader into his former position and that she has been so successful in it.

In addition to that, he continued to publish entertaining reports and run competitions during his time as Quaestor, seeing the House through the end of last year and the beginning of this year.

Then, when I lost Cethgus to the Dark Council, I needed a new Proconsul. There were many good applications, but Sang's was the best. He identified issues and presented solutions, and he has acted on that after taking over the role as Proconsul. This included smoothing over conflicts within the Clan and mentoring all of our leaders instead of just the ones in a single House. He also helped us spread into gaming, along with others, as evidenced by his 72 CFs and 130 CEs.

In only a month of being Proconsul, Sang has already displayed a great talent as my right hand and shown the value of his years of experience in leadership in the Brotherhood, applied as Proconsul. Together with Marcus we planned the major event, Operation: Firestorm. This event saw us writing quite a bit of fiction, as well as planning and judging 13 competitions, including four that were fiction based. (Let's never do that again!)

Sang wrote 4519 words of fiction for this event alone, including lead up fiction, mid-event fiction, and ending fiction. Each of these also included reaching out to members and talking to them about their character in order to involve them in the story. Then, after writing their sections, we talked to them again to make sure it was right, and there was some discussion there. This communication involved at least ten different members from all parts of the Clan. Sang was prompt, patient, and efficient with this, and we know from feedback that it was successful and made members happy.

Firestorm saw 20 participants, who made 108 total submissions over all competitions (not counting the parent and gaming involvement from other Clans). They wrote 58,621 words of fiction, which Sang had to read and help judge. All in all, it seems the event was a resounding success, and we could definitely not have done that without Sang's efforts. He was there to write fiction when I was too busy or got stuck. He was there to plan competitions to make sure they weren't all in my patented flat tone (though Marcus helped with that as well). He was there to promptly get judging done so we could release results. He was also the one to share those results with the Clan and first to congratulate them on a job well done.

After Firestorm, Sang helped me sort through administrative data such as further awards and what to do next. It's probably more correct to say I've helped him, as he has done so much of it while I go through a particularly rough patch of school.

Have I mentioned that Sang is an excellent Proconsul?

In addition to the above, he has worked well with everyone on Summit and has been patient and outgoing. Leadership and culture start at the top, and Sang shows it. He is patient, outgoing, and positive, and the Clan Summit and membership generally have been very much so as well lately. I can only assume Sang had a big impact on this.

On the activity side, aside form the 20 competitions Sang has run or help run (this includes Firestorm above), he has participated in 19. He has also completed 6 ACC battles, received six Crescents, 72 Clusters of Fire, 21 of Ice, and 130 of Earth. This shows that Sang is active in a variety of activities, and much of it is to support the Clan and his members. He plays Jedi Academy with them even when lag ensures his quick death. He ACCs whoever wants to improve or have a good battle. He makes pve runs with the gamers who enjoy that. Sang will do just about anything members are reasonably interested in.

He's also found time to mentor Mactire to Knight during this time, adding another personal touch to the development of the Clan.

Here you have someone who continues to support Naga Sadow faithfully. He has smoothly moved up to Proconsul. His former Aedile has become Quaestor and done an excellent job, showing that Sang is a great mentor. He immediately helped run a major clan event, resulting in a plethora of entries and loads of work for himself, which he completed promptly. He sports an attitude and work ethic that are a great example for the Clan and help set the tone from the top of our leadership all the way down to the newest Novice. All through this, he continues to uphold a solid level of activity, across most of the DJB's platforms, many times participating in what he knows his members will enjoy.

For all of the above reasons, and the supporting recommendations, I would like to award Sang this Grand Cross as a token of my appreciation and gratitude.

Congratulations Sang! Now accept this reward peacefully or I will shove it down your throat. :p

Consul of Naga Sadow

Additional reasons

Sang, I choose you!

Sang's been there, ever since I returned from inactivity. He's guided me, motivated me, fought against me, built me up, defeated me through applications, and has, as is his right, snatched up the mantle of Proconsul. Originally I thought I'd be a little bitter, and indeed I was at first, but then Sang began to work the magic he'd kept partially hidden from me when he was Quaestor. He spat out a multi-tier event, together with Locke, like it was nothing. Even when he was hospitalized, he managed to grade all our fiction-entries before both Locke and myself, putting us to shame.

Sang's a fictional powerhouse, who puts anything and everything second to the Brotherhood, and the Clan. Indeed he is one of the few people I tend to hold as a shining example to which all members would be able to mirror themselves to.

I'm aware he doesn't want this award, but like Locke I don't care and I will help him cram this thing down his throat if he resists. All hail Blood! Congratulations buddy!

Sang has been around from the moment I joined CNS a little over year ago. He has been a person of great influence and unimaginable intelligence. Whenever a problem I couldn't solve popped up, Sang was there to solve it like it was nothing. He has a way with words, and can mediate any conflict and turn it onto a cuddle fest once all is done and said.

Since his self inflicted punishment to become our PCON, I have seen nothing but admirable skill from this man. Don't get me wrong, he was already a good Quaestor, but as PCON he is something out of this league.

As stated above, when he was hospitalized this god-like person still continued his duties as PCON, grading Operation:Firestorm and ensuring that the details and placements were swiftly finalized.

I am thrilled to be a part of this recommendation and although he doesn't feel like he deserves these awards since he would rather see other members be awarded, this selfless member deserves the rightful recognition of this award.

Love you always Mr. Macho Man!

Grand Inquisitor Morax Darkblade, 2016-04-15 17:56:18 UTC

Sanguinius has been just an amazing and awesome fun guy to hang around. Since I first joined House Marka Ragnos, he has offered me the chance to show him what I was capable of accomplishing. As a Quaestor, he reached out to offer assistance and guidance for just about anything I asked. If I had ideas, concerns, and comments, he was always willing to listen. He has watched my career grow and blossom. When the time had finally come for him to step up as Proconsul, He made me the Quaestor of his House, because he felt that I was reliable, trustworthy, and capable. For that I want to thank him for being so kind. He's always doing what he can to help serve his Clan and will always be there to help you. So I am proud to be a part of presenting Sanguinius this award, Congratulations, you truly deserve it!

Quaestor of Marka Ragnos (aka. Sang’s Blue)

Sanguinius, my dear Sang. Grumpy Cat. Jedi scum. Good guy all around and a willing mentor. My experience working with you has been brief is comparison with others, but you have always been willing to lend an ear, to give advice, to proof a post (I always seem to run up against a tight deadline and don't manage to get my posts to you, but you still offer!) or help to mediate a difficult situation.

Since taking the position that has not changed, despite your increased responsibilities and for that you have my thanks. Despite your insistence you are grumpy and the fact that you play off your work as nothing large, I am honored to join my voice in recommendation for this Sapphire Blade. With a leader like you the success even after your ascension from Quaestor is a testament to your legacy. Your help in developing stories with both the Clan and individuals has left a mark on us all, and I want to thank you for the happy memories you have helped to create. Cheers, buddy.

"Benny", Aedile of Shar Dakhan

Omnipresent, ever-helpful, and friendly almost to a fault, Sanguinius is one of the most stellar examples of what a Proconsul is supposed to look like. A relatively recent transfer to CNS, Sanguinius came from Odan Urr a little over a year ago, having spent time in Arcona before that. Looking at things with a fresh set of eyes, and having the knowledge and experience from other units is a useful tool, knowing their successes and their failures. This sort of wisdom is terribly important, yet somewhat evasive, considering how 'loyalty' is factored into leading effectively.

Sang has put this to good use, focusing in on the social media aspect of the clan, communicating near instantly with his members on a daily basis, helping to build those lasting friendships that sustain the clan in the long run. His goading of folks to participate in what the brotherhood has to offer reaches far beyond the average clan event, but also encourages people to seek out their next promotion, their next storyline, their next society elevation. He builds these relationships to find out what it is they love, and then uses that information to push people to their goals. It's quite admirable, and something I have ranted on and on about myriad times in the past.

Locke recently asked me to write this recc, and initially I wondered what I could say. I am not exactly front and center of clan or brotherhood politics any more (Nor do i have any desire to be), and my interface with him as a summit member has been limited. But after thinking about it, I recognized that it isn't my interface with him in any official or formal context that is important. He may be a demon with spreadsheets, with tracking, or running numbers. But that is just administrative work. Important, of course, but it is not the lichpin of good leadership. No, it is his interface with his members that is important. His building up of the members, his encouragement, his friendship. These earn the respect of his members, and this is what allows him to lead. So I would like to take a moment and thank him, for the effort, for the sacrifices, and for the time. Thank you, Sang.

I feel it is always an honor for me personally to be able to be a small part of awarding our Elders. It is even more rewarding when the Elder in question is your Master. Adept Entar has always been a Tour de Force within the Brotherhood. Forgive my 1980’s band .38 Special reference! In all seriousness regarding Adept Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar, his tenure within the Shadow Academy alone is synonymous with knowledge and leadership. He is and will always be a sounding board for not only me, but a multitude of others around the Club. His vast knowledge of lore and past events is a game changer when it comes to acquiring the intricate details that one needs.

The Adept has had a stellar year of activity, yet again adding to his repertoire of abilities. He has participated in sixty one comps and fifty six gaming activities. Along with his duties at the SA grading over a hundred exams and completing one course of his own. Adding to his collection of medals, Adept Entar has earned a total of nineteen Crescents, one hundred eighty five Clusters of Earth. A whopping six hundred sixty three Clusters of Earth, ten Clusters of Graphite and twenty seven Scrolls of Foundation.

As the Aedile of House Marka Ragnos, he continues to never become a stranger to leadership. Always willing to step in and get his hands dirty, he and his Quaestor are a stellar team to have on Summit. His gaming prowess garnered him a XxX placement with the GJW XxX competiton contributing the Clan’s XxX overall placement. Furthermore his leadership is felt Club wide with the additional positions of Magistrate to the Regent, Star Chamber member and as previously stated, a Shadow Academy Professor.

Adept Sanguinius Entar will always be a pillar of Clan Naga Sadow as well as within the Club. It gives me great pleasure to present this prestigious award to you. Thank you for your leadership and your continued mentorship of the Clan.
