Appearance
Celevon is a Human male of slightly-above average height. He possesses the svelte build and corded muscle tone of a lifelong athlete who has speed and maneuverability in mind over power. He wears his shoulder length ebony locks in a braid when knowingly entering combat and facial hair varies from clean shaven to a neatly trimmed goatee. His unnatural silver eyes and the occasional half-smirk convey the cold confidence of a calculating male willing to whatever is necessary to achieve his ends. Despite his icy exterior to those that he doesn’t count as friend, the depths of his mercurial gaze reveal a being who has lived a hard life formed through countless trials and pain - a survivor.
Distinguishing Marks
Celevon has many scars across his body from a hard life, though most are usually covered by his clothing. One of the few that are visible can be located on his left temple - it’s a faded scar in the shape of a crescent. Another thing that distinguishes the Assassin from other Humans are his quicksilver eyes, a shade more common amongst the Near-Human Echani. Though most of his tattoos are hidden beneath his clothing, when his arms are bared, the Assassin can be identified by three visible tattoos: On his upper right arm is a tattoo of a wolf, made up of a number of runes, framed by the sigil of the Erinos Clan; on his inner right wrist is the Shadicar Sigil, featuring a stylized Crescent Moon that partially contains a tribal raven. The final piece that's able to distinguish him is, one the rare occasion that he doesn't have long sleeves and gloves, is the prosthetic replacement for his left arm - his flesh ends at mid-humerus.
Attire
The Assassin prefers function over fashion when it comes to everyday or mission attire. He typically wears dark colored clothing of a utilitarian nature to make it easier to move around at night. When Celevon wants to blend in where combat-oriented attire would stand out in a crowd, he wears a barely over-sized jacket or coat, gloves, cargo pants, and boots with the bracer containing his Hidden Blade (Retractable Wrist-Blade) concealed beneath the sleeve of his jacket or coat, with his other weapons concealed in various parts within the attire.
When blending into the civilian population isn't a factor, the Assassin can be found in an outfit that he wore more frequently before joining the Dark Brotherhood. The base layer consists of a pair of black cargo trousers and a long-sleeve black shirt of a fluid material that is almost skin-tight, as well as a full black leather glove over the cybernetic left hand whilst the right glove is fingerless. The bottoms of the cargo trousers are tucked into a pair of dark brown leather boots, knees covered by a pair of black kneepads. The bracers that cover the majority of his forearms are of a simple design, whilst a vest with four straps - two diagonal (the one that goes from his left shoulder to right hip has four pouches attached to it), two around his waist - is similarly unadorned with an attached hood. It is clear that these leather pieces were purchased as a set, as they appear equally worn. A piece of black cloth around his throat can be drawn up to cover his mouth and nose. This is but one of many attires he could be wearing at any given time, as he will still don the Chief Inquisitor Armor should the mood strike him.
- Kerambit (Curved dagger with belt loop - sheathed on his lower back)
- Retractable Wrist-Blade (Concealed within right bracer)
- One set (5x) of Dual-edged Kunai Throwing Blades (Concealed at various parts of his body)
- Sith Dagger (Sheathed at his hip)
- Pair (2x) of Reynolds DE-21 Slugthrower Pistols (tactical thigh holsters on both legs)
Celevon Edraven Erinos is a master of the 'tricks of the trade' - the cheating and stealing trade, that is. With a certain propensity and natural talent for stealth and thievery, Celevon Edraven Erinos is a professional when it comes to crimes, from minor to major. Sometimes it is as simple as a few more favorable cards in a hand to a set of sticky fingers to something as big as a heist. Either way, Celevon Edraven Erinos knows his way around a job. However, everyone is bound to get caught eventually, and reputations have a way of finding a way to bite you in the rear. . . not to mention those looking to extract a little vengeance.
Celevon follows 'The Three Tenets', a self-imposed code that he lives by. The first tenet is to Stay your blade from the flesh of the innocent, something he strongly believes in. The second tenet is to Hide in Plain sight. This lends a supernatural quality to his kills whilst inspiring fear into the allies of those who are eliminated by appearing from a crowd, performing the assassination, then disappearing without a trace. The final tenet, proof of his loyalty, is to Never Compromise those who trust you for any price. Even under the agony of torture or threat of death, Celevon will maintain his silence.
One of the few things that Celevon Edraven adopted from his Mandalorian mentor, Sashar, as well as one of the few full Mando’a sentences he can speak: Aliit ori'shya tal'din. “Family is more than blood.” This resonated with the Assassin, as he had always believed this due to growing up as an amnesiac orphan. For those he views as kin, be they friends who see what lies beneath the icy facade or actual blood-kin, Celevon is unwaveringly loyal and fiercely protective of those few. Even should those who scorn him be harmed, the Assassin will travel as far as needed to extract vengeance on their behalf without a hint of remorse.
Outside of combat situations, Celevon Edraven is purely professional in almost all aspects of his life save when facing those few he trusts implicitly. He has been described as a ‘cold-hearted’ by those who only see this side of him. This is more a factor of his paranoia and trust issues due to past betrayals, so he tries to maintain some sense of detachment through the use of an icy facade. He dislikes ‘small talk’, preferring to get straight to the heart of the matter and not waste time unnecessarily; attempting to do so will have you under the Onderonian’s sarcastic, sharp tongue. Because of this behavior, Celevon Edraven is seen as an introverted cynic and unapproachable.
Celevon Edraven Erinos has learned, from watching his more pacifist comrades-in-arms, just how grave a weight every life is. Whilst the Assassin is still willing to kill where necessary, he now knows just how precious those lives may be and that he cannot take back the stroke of a blade. With that in mind, Celevon Edraven Erinos has adapted his training to focus less on outright execution and more on disabling an opponent, aiming to end any skirmish with them before determining whether or not to extinguish their life.
Celevon Edraven Erinos is of the very firm belief that your very environment and everything within it can be used as a weapon or used to your advantage. Whereas some would harp about the honor of combat, every fight for the Assassin is, essentially, about survival. If throwing a handful of sand into your opponent’s eyes before making the killing strike or grabbing a discarded weapon to use will get the job done, Celevon Edraven Erinos will not hesitate to do so. Whilst no one will be boasting of his use of honorable tactics, the Assassin will live to fight another day.
