All of Qel-Droma was gathered in the shuttle-bay to see the departure of their Quaestor who, being appointed the next Proconsul of Arcona, had prepared his ship for a journey to Arcona's main base. Before entering the shuttle, the ex-quaestor called Tissaya with him, and together they held a short speech:

Strategos Thanatos Entar, Being one of Qel-Droma's active members, you are a real asset to the clan. Not only have we scored a lot of points thanks to your efforts during the feud, but you also showed some good activity in the past, both as Tyro and as Tetrarch of Prophecy. I'm sure we'll see more of you in the future. I wish you good luck and a happy time in Qel-Droma and hereby I award you a Dark Cross and a promotion to Dark Jedi Knight.

Stepping forward, JaM3z took one of the medals from the box in his hand, and placed one on Strategos' robes while Tissaya handed him a lightsaber and new robes.

Strategos was one of the valuable members involved in the Wiki projects for Arcona's entries. He was referred to as a member of the 'Last Minute Brigade', that is, the members who were there to help put the finishing touches on their own pieces of writing and assist with formatting. It is for the reasons shown above, along with his loyalty and dedication to the Arconan war effort that I recommend Strategos for a Dark Cross.

It has been some time since Strat last recieved any sort of award. Since then, he has been a constant prescence in Arconan competitions. In particular, he took part in seven (rounds 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11 and 12) of the 12 Dozen of Games events, running eventual winner Scelestus very close in the final standings. He also took part and won the first round of the Arcona Galaxy Quest Olympiad, later helping JaM3z run the second round. Finally, he took part in one of the DGM's 'Quick and Easy' comps, taking fourth.

In addition to this, Strat played over a dozen 2v1 JA games during Horizons, taking the Gold Nova in the 2v1 event. His determination and will to win drove others in Arcona onwards as well in a (vain :P) attempt to re-take 1st place, including myself and Cethgus T. Entar, my fellow Qel-Droman Battleteam Leader.

It is for this constant competition activity that I wish to give Strat this Dark Cross.

Strat has nothing left to prove. He’s an Entar; he’s an Arconae; he’s a Dark Side Adept; he’s been a leader endlessly. He continues to participate in competitions in the name of House Qel-Droma and Clan Arcona both. The only rational explanation for his continued work is that Arcona is his family. He will always be there for us and has continued to prove himself lately.

Since has last merit medal was awarded he has 14 competitions! This includes: Dozen of Games II Rounds 1-10, Monkey Kick Off, Monthly Mobile Gaming Racing Santa, Gevaar’s IRC trivia, and Condar’s IRC Trivia; placing in many of them. He's been unstoppable gaming and competing in competitions. His consistent IRC presence interacting with newer members is a great help to the summit.

For all of this and more I am delighted to recommend this Dark Cross!
