~Wuntila Arconae. Consul. Clan Arcona.

Over the last four months Montresor has set the example for high performing members of House Qel-Droma. In January alone he completed a staggering fifteen Shadow Academy courses, none of which were required for a promotion I might add, earned 208 Clusters of Fire, placed 2nd in the Herald's Graphics Prologue for the Dark Crusade, placed 2nd in the Headmasters Error Hunt competition, and earned two Clusters of Ice from the Voice's Dark Crusade Prologue Run On.

Quite honestly if there is a competition to be done, you can bet that Monty will be submitting to it. The Dark Crusade is no exception. Montresor has participated in -EVERY- event which has been offered so far within the Crusade. Often completing them within the first week! In Phase 1 of the Crusade he contributed to the 4th Place Wiki Team, writing a detailed description of the One Sith Base for the article. During Phase 2 Montresor was a member of the 2nd Place Run On Team, giving feedback on posts and storyline development to the Team as the story progressed. In addition to his activity within the Crusade he still managed to find time to earn another 105 Clusters of Fire in February and March.

Arcona's newest catchphrase "Do Work Son!" was also coined by Montresor as he encouraged other members of the Clan through the Arcona mailing list to participate as much as they could. I am proud to award Montresor a Grand Cross, because... HE DID WORK SON!

Valhavoc Aedile, House Qel-Droma

The task of completing projects in a timely and accurate manner is the bane of all Praetor and Magistrates. Do this, do that, do it now, do it faster, why are you not done, are the typical commands and questions that they receive. Fortunately, my Praetor has never heard those questions because he completes his assignments before their deadlines and he does so at a standard above my expectations. In the past 6 months, Montresor has:

  1. Tracked participation, word count, and placement of all GJW Run Ons. He created the participation tracker used by the DC for grading the event. Total time: Two hours of work.

  2. Reviewed and recommended the winner of best DC and unit reports competition. Total time: 30 minutes a week, for the past 4 months.

  3. Graded ACC Tournament matches, specifically matches the Combat Master could not (Taldryan). Montresor also reviewed all of the final eight matches. Total time: 4 hours.

  4. Provided D3 gaming feedback to the Fist on a regular basis in order to ensure CF balance. As our best D3 player, speed runs are timed off of his activity. Total time: 30 minutes per month, for the past five months.

  5. Proof read and corrected the last year of Vendetta fiction. Total pages exceeding 120. Total time: 8 hours.

  6. And then the standard, non-quantifiable work a Praetor does that I can't remember. The hey you, check this, read that, do this type jobs. Two hours per month.

Monty, I appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to our club, this award is well below what you deserve, but it does serve as a symbol of my and our club's gratitude.

Warlord Montresor handles more work for the Grand Master and Justicar than most of our club would be comfortable knowing. Monty's selfless effort towards our club over the past several months has resulted in his near shoe in selection as our future Justicar as well as his continued service as both dedicated staffer/adviser to our club's leadership. Thanks Monty.
