K’tana’s sojourn to Ryloth has left a lasting effect on her. A revived interest in her native religion combined with her own insecurity have left her with a newly blossoming faith. This, among other things, has convinced her that she is a dark and earthly aspect of Kika’Lekki - the Twi’lek goddess of light. This manifests, in part, in her talent for controlling animals, but more profoundly in her self-image. K’tana does not think of her abilities as the Force, but rather sees them as miraculous, divine powers bestowed on her by a literal goddess.

K’tana prefers to get close to her targets--really close--before taking them out. She will do whatever she has to do to gain their trust, convince them that she is of little threat, and then finds the opportune moment to strike. She takes pleasure in the game of it and is not shy about using her body or mind to seduce a target. Gets a thrill from the knowledge that no matter what they do to her, she will be the one to kill them in the end. This has left her with a strange sense of humor that is both strangely adolescent and lewd. While her assassination strategy makes her an effective field agent, her childish ways and objectionably sexual behaviour makes beginning or maintaining her relationships with others difficult.

K’tana has a very short attention span when not doing something violent or fun to fill in the cold, hollow and indifferent emptiness she has developed along with those around her. She overcompensates for everything in life with some form of excitement or bloodlust. Oftentimes the two coincide, but now, more than ever, they have become an emotional crutch. She is now addicted to the adrenaline of intense emotion and feels sickeningly empty without the rush. Lust and fear easily overwhelm and intrigue the woman in a disturbing manner. She goes out of her way to feel these things, regardless of if they are dangerous or not, which conflicts with the small part of her spirit that still wants to learn and grow stronger.

K'tana's recent forays into leadership and responsibility have left her profoundly if subtly altered. Between her training, her membership of the Dajorra Intelligence Agency, a student of her own and her leadership of Shadow Gate and a street gang, the Twi'lek's previously irresponsible and careless life has more or less come to an end. This mass of responsibilities has left K'tana frustrated and frazzled. Her previous personality is, by and large, intact...but sometimes, a more serious part of her shines through. For all that, she will still play up her mania despite the fact that she is, under the facade, paying attention and figuring out ways to turn situations to her advantage.

Due to her inability to properly experience emotion in a healthy manner and wishing to rid herself of this issue, K'tana has developed a twisted relationship with pain. Brutality and violence seem to be the only things that can reach into her core and bring out some kind of real expression of how she feels. After a good smack to the face, punch to the ribs or TK’d violently enough to crack bones, she licks her lips and continues her verbal or physical assault. This, more often than not, means that K’tana is frequently seen covered in bruises and cuts. On the off-chance that she is battling it out with a peer and not a superior, her drive to hurt and be hurt usually causes her to attempt to inflict as much pain as possible before making the fatal strike. This usually leaves her in bad shape from pushing her body to its limits.

Growing up as a dancer and an entertainer, K’tana has adapted spinning dance steps into her K’tara. When seen, she weaves like a coiling serpent - or a leaps and flips like a graceful circus performer- before she makes a sudden strike. When her violet saber ignites, K’tana becomes the whirlwind of movement that practitioners of Ataru are known for. The Mystic prefers to tire out her opponents with sudden and unexpected attacks, or to slip past their guard and remove their ability to fight back with a crippling or hindering strike. She uses her agility to compensate for her lack of technical skill, and can be overwhelmed by a fighter with sound technique.
