Primary reason

Anduriel has only just joined the Dark Brotherhood less than 4 hours ago, but has swiftly moved into the swing of things by completing his Test of Lore, DB Basics, Obelisk Core and IRC Basics as well as coming on IRC and submitting to the Herald competition that is being run in connection to the Dark Crusade. As such, this activity goes above and beyond what one would expect from someone who has only JUST joined the Brotherhood and in response to the Headmaster's report where he calls on leaders to give out more merit medals, I believe that Anduriel is deserving of one and is a prime example of Solari's speech. Well done on your Dark Cross, Anduriel! Keep up the good work.

Primary reason

Those who receive the Dark Cross have shown a strong level of activity within their House or Battle Team through IRC presence, participation in competitions and events or having worked on small-scale projects.

Anduriel has stepped up in a huge way by volunteering to help with the creation of two very important spreadsheets for me as Consul. The first, which did count for his Summit Task, was a way of tracking Summit Tasks for Journeyman. It takes two sheet-tabs and links them together, automatically updating one with the other while also displaying available tasks that could be assigned. This will increase the efficiency and organization of the process of assigning these tasks- a huge service to the entire Arcona Summit.

He took it on his own, however, to also volonteer to assist with helping me create the scoring sheet for the upcoming Arcona Event (Clan-Wide, Multi-Week Competition). He created a spreadsheet that neatly portrays members by team (color coded!) with formulas in place for me to simply input numbers/scores. This will, in the long run, make grading the event and displaying/tracking the results exponentially easier. The amount of time and effort poured into creating these spreadsheets is more than deserving of our clubs entry level Merit Medal.

Andy has also been active on IRC, engaging his fellow members despite being away the past year due to real life. It is an honor and pleasure to have him as a member.

Congratulation, Andy, keep up the awesome work!
