Rathus stands at just under six feet tall, his frame thin and athletic rather than powerful and muscular. It is immediately obvious that the young man has spent very little time doing fieldwork, as evidenced by his graveyard tan and lack of even the smallish noticeable scar or blemish. Despite this, however, he seems to have remained in at least decent physical condition, rather than wasting away as some who frequent their time with technology and management do. Uninhibited black hair flows from his scalp, slightly waved and curled, constantly just threatening to obscure his vision, the back flowing to shoulder-length. Hawkish eyes peer out at the world from this framing of hair, a light blue-gray, occasionally sparking with a strange sheen as his eyes dart about.
Lightsaber, Force
Rathus Marr loves to play with computers and enjoys interacting with them more than he does with people. Some may call him antisocial - and they'd be right.
Rathus Marr's life is filled with training and learning for all sorts of situations, from the mind-numbingly normal to the utterly bizarre. As such, Rathus Marr has developed into a rather resourceful individual. This has made Rathus Marr a mix of academic and scholar, always with something to offer to any discussion. However, knowledge and training does not always translate well to the tense environment of the battlefield, and no amount of textbooks can prepare one for reality...
Rathus Marr has a legendary and virulent need for vengeance. Once crossed, he will make it his life’s work to ensure that whatever slight was received is repaid tenfold. This need for vengeance can be all-consuming, and can often lead to short-sighted decisions.
Rathus Marr manages to always see the down side to every silver-lining, joyous occasion, or victory. Where some may see a boon, Rathus Marr will often see the curse accompanying it, just around the corner.Rathus Marr's constant pessimism can often lead to conflict and the annoyance of those around him, not to mention the dampening of spirits. However, this mindset is not without its benefits, for a pessimist is far more likely to be prepared for the worst and be left unscathed by it - after all, none are more prepared for the worst case scenario than the ones expecting it all along.
Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Rathus Marr has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Rathus Marr then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Rathus Marr has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
Rathus Marr seems to get his thrills, perhaps sadistic ones at that, from toying with his opponents. Some are content with simply striking down or injuring their opponent, but that is not enough for Rathus Marr. No, he wishes to see his enemy descend into madness or kneel before him as a blathering mess; or even better, as a fresh new servant with a muddled mind. The Puppeteer usually forsakes outright hurting and maiming his opponent and focuses on illusions, mind tricks, and other wicked means of destroying a person.
