Physical Description

Appearance

Slender and tightly muscled Tamashī's features were sharp as if cut from marble and his eyes, described as multihued, had a slight upward tilt and large vertical pupils. Onlookers perceived them as changing color from a deep hue of amber to grey and banded - a rainbow of colors.

His handsome features were elegant and well proportioned and, unlike other Sephi, Tamashī's skin was ashen-white and his stark silver hair was long, thick, and flowing.

Distinguishing Marks:

Tamashī Bloodfyre's otherwise unmarked body is marred by the wounds taken during his brutal training and short life. A long curving scar on his left cheek, connects to a deeper scar that crosses his visage from left eye to right cheek. A smaller scar bisects his lips and a further slash runs down his chest - attesting to the merciless regime he put himself through.

On his back rests a dark amethyst tattoo, with dark glyphs running down his spine.

Attire

Commonly seen on the battlefield wearing exotic looking armor, Tamashi only dons his heavy armor for when a battle is truly momentous or when a formal duel is arranged. His usual mode of attire is as exotic and striking as his armor, boasting a high-tech mask obscuring his face and keeping his face a mystery to all.

Blending high quality silk and armorweave together into an obsidian weave of both elegance and function, the form hugging shirt and pants were held together with three belt's around the waist area, with pouch's lining them for additional quick storage space.

A short half-cape draped itself across his left shoulder a mystical symbol etched onto it, and a white tabard hung loose from his waist denoting the same symbol. Heavy gauntlets sheathed the Sephi's hands and gave him some measure of protection, and hanging from a chain looped across his chest hung a massive sword that seemed to radiate a palpable hunger.

* note - the armor is entirely cosmetic in nature.

Heavenly Demon (General Aspect)

Believing in using society and its laws to benefit himself, Tamashī believes that structure and organization elevate those who deserve to rule as well as provide a clearly defined hierarchy between master and servant. To this end, Tamashī supports laws and societies that protect his own concerns. If someone is hurt or suffers because of a law that benefits him, well, that's too bad.

Because he may be forced to honor an unfavorable contract or oath he may have made, Tamashī is usually very careful about giving his word. Once given, he will break his word only if he can find a way to do it legally, within the laws of society.

Warrior And A Philosopher (General Aspect)

Believing that honor and virtue are on display when men are facing deadly peril, Tamashī is no slouch at war making, however he also thinks about the purpose behind all the bloodshed and philosophizes on the meaning of life and death. Experiencing death and the horrors of war has caused him to contemplate the big questions of life and he has devoted his spare time to philosophy, wondering what it all means.

While this attitude was looked upon with favor and even admired in Shaevalis, the rest of the galaxy tends to view Tamashī as a foolish intellectual wrestling with immaterial problems while the rest of the galaxy struggles to survive. With his fellows being unable to understand his philosophical leanings, Tamashī is often withdrawn and prefers his own company.

Officer And A Gentleman (Personality Aspect)

Expected to be cultured and literate, the aristocratic warriors of the Shaevalian Empire admired the ancient saying "The Pen and the Sword in accord". Striving to uphold himself to that rigid standard Tamashī maintains perfect etiquette at all times, never speaking out of turn, and never raising his voice above a soft, even & measured tone.

For example, Tamashī will rarely if ever cuss, and never knowingly in the presence of a lady. He will rarely drink to the point of inebriation. He would never, ever take advantage of a lady, and will be very protective of women, both of their persons and their sensibilities, even when it is not merited. Further, if you insult his honor, or worse, the honor of a lady he fancies, you may earn yourself a challenge to a duel, unless profuse apology is the next thing out of your mouth.

Honor Before Reason (Personality Aspect)

Being an honorable person is anything but easy; it requires personal sacrifice that most normal people aren't willing to make, either out of self-interest, selfishness or any other number of reasons. Tamashī more often than not acts in a manner that, although morally sound and honorable, is far from the most practical. Quite often this kind of chivalric behavior will come at a great cost to Tamashī 's happiness, kill him outright, or similarly leave him a destroyed being.

Put another way, Tamashī is more committed to a particular code of abstract ethics than he is to his own self-preservation. He believes in a pre-defined set of rules which universally apply, and he won't break said rules, even if his own death results from adhering to them in one particular instance. However, those aware of his code can easily exploit his ethics and use it as a weapon against him.

Civilized Warfare (Combat Aspect)

Tamashī understands that there are certain rules, unwritten or otherwise, that dictate how a battle can be waged, and plans to see that they are upheld. Sure, there might be an intense rivalry that must be settled once and for all; possibly the fate of the world hangs in the balance, but there's no reason why we can't be civil about it!

Do not misunderstand—Tamashī can be just as deadly as any other warrior; because of his experience in battle he is very composed and has nerves of steel, making him less likely to act irrationally or misstep. However, while his training and experience may have forged him into a very skilled fighter, he will rarely be a combat pragmatist, and can often fall victim to more unsporting fighters.

Minister of War (Combat Aspect)

Tamashī Bloodfyre is utterly devoted to success in combat, no matter the mission, no matter the cost. He has spent his life building himself in the image of war, utilizing a dogmatic regimen that has lead him to a single-minded obsession with military success and requires intense physical and mental training. This training, however, has come at the cost of anything resembling empathy or concern for others - even his superiors and subordinates.
