Straight-backed and disarmingly charming in greeting, Uji carries himself with a noble’s confidence and a commoner’s amiability. His attitude tends to enhance his lithely muscular build in such a manner that people still see a protector and a paragon, rather than a powerful former Jedi.
Uji is, physically, about your average Human soldier. He is tall but not overly so and weighs a little heavier in muscle mass, though he is more fit than bulky from years of hand-to-hand combat expertise. Still, his combative experience is clearly visible in his battle-honed frame.
He has pale, tan skin, narrow emerald eyes, and straight, dark hair that falls around his ears and eyes when not pushed back. He has no usual attire, his ability to take on the role of his current mission dictates what he wears for each assignment. Uji is most often found wearing current Coruscant fashion. Though a former Jedi he has always found comfort in the appearance of everyday individuals.
Years spent working alongside Republic intelligence helped Uji develop a particular skill set for quiet infiltration, and efficient takedowns, he prefers to subdue or disable his opponents without notice. To this end he has developed an in-depth understanding of the Republic fighting style K’tara that he puts to use whenever possible. The training he received from his Master allowed him to develop a substantial talent with the Makashi form, he prefers to avoid open conflict where he would have much need for deflecting blasters, and instead focused on the ability to disarm, and defeat other force-sensitives.
Through a combination of preparing, studying, and analyzing, Uji creates detailed battle plans and tries to think two steps ahead of the enemy. At times, however, this can lead to Uji creating complicated schemes that can baffle less intelligent subordinates.
When Uji does things, he makes sure everything is done correctly, no matter how long it takes. This means there are frequent delays in Uji's work, but it's usually done right, at least.
Embracing the concept that he controls what will become of his future, and his legacy, Uji has embraced the dark side to realize his vision of bringing stability and growth to the Galaxy. Uji has only one desire: to create a legacy that will live longer then he ever could. He often spends time considering the outcome of events, and pieces together potential events, finding order within the chaos of what is to come. This leads him, however, to often think two, or three steps out and forget that what happens in the present can destroy everything he is working for.
Uji regrets the years he spent as a Jedi, haunted by the memories of betraying those close to him, the murders he committed, and the secrets he kept hidden for the “Greater Good” of the Jedi order. Having broken free of the order, Uji’s eyes have opened to the need for emotion. He knows that peace cannot be achieved without war, that the absence of emotion will only bring stagnation and corruption. Uji has embraced his emotions more fully, giving him a strong connection to the Force, and a stronger desire to realize his dreams. The opposite though still haunts him: he fears how easily he can become the cold, unfeeling machine that he became as a Jedi.
Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Uji has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Uji then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Uji has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
Uji doesn't like to kill people; instead he chooses to injure his opponent until that person is unable to fight back or is otherwise incapacitated.
