Physical Description

Standing below the average height of many Humans in the Galaxy, Kordath is a lithely built Ryn. His head is topped with a mass of white hair that refuses to lay down no matter how much one combs or styles it. Thick eyebrows and a mustache and goatee of the same color frame the rest of his gray skinned face.

Grey eyes are set to either side of his chtinous, fluted nose, with perpetual bags showing his lack of sleep or bad habits under them. His dark lips are thin and show a few scars picked up from bar brawls and mishaps over the years, yet laugh lines still surround the Ryn's mouth.

Along the back of his torso, on the left side, is a scar from a lightsaber that nearly took his arm off at the shoulder. On the right there's an entry wound from a slug, with an exit wound on the front, a through and through to his shoulder that he got saving a child. He uses said scar to get drinks and admiration from ladies.

Kordath has taken to a much more casual dress style as he becomes more comfortable with his abilities and his comrades as of late. Usually he can be found in simple attire. Dark brown, somewhat loose cargo pants with many pockets and a tailored bit on the back to allow his muscled, fuzz covered tail to remain free. A gray, long sleeved tunic with buttons at the neck sits under a black vest that hangs not quite to his waist. Depending on the weather he may wear a black coat of Nerf leather over this.

Kordath always has at least one pack of cigarettes and a lighter on his person.

Should Kordath be anticipating trouble, which is usually, he keeps a trio of flashbangs secured to the back of his belt, knowing a quick get away is preferable to a fight. Twin Sith Daggers are sheathed at the small of his back, underneath his vest, and a Sapphire Blade sits in a sheath along his right thigh.

I’ve Been Everywhere Man (General Aspect)

Kordath has been a drifter for most of his adult life, and has seen dozens of worlds and cultures. He’s done jobs in almost every unskilled field of labor, from farming to cooking to some light mechanic work and custodial services. This has lead to a colorful collection of stories and anecdotes, as well as a natural tendency towards treating the ‘common folk’ better than many of his brethren do. This has also lead to a general distrust of authority figures, and a resistance to anything passing as military discipline.

Looks Cold Out There (General Aspect)

Kordath is not a fan of space. He can fly in a ship, sure, he’s spent a lot of time hopping from planet to planet on freighters and cargo haulers. Usually by stowing away in the hold. When legitimate travel became a thing for Kordath he learned about viewports, and decided that being able to see the vast, empty and cold vacuum of space was not for him. Extended time in such conditions can cause the Ryn to suffer from severe anxiety and possible panic attacks.

Whats This? Whats This? (Personality Aspect)

Kordath has a natural curiosity, that’s evolved into scholarly pursuit. When encountering a new topic or source of information, he will spend extended periods of time trying to plumb it for knowledge. This leads to hours, days, even weeks where he’ll focus on something to the point of unsociable behavior, only to be distracted by another topic in which the cycle starts anew. He retains some of what he learns, and has a tendency to go back to familiar subjects after a time, to further explore.

I Know You're Playing Me (Personality Aspect)

Kordath has been running cons to keep alive since he was thirteen, and can usually recognize when one is being pulled on him. He'll usually go along with one in the hopes of gaining information, an advantage, or an opportune time to screw things up for whomever is pulling it. This does lead to the occasional accident or misfortune for Kordath, as cons rarely go as planned, even when both people are in on it.

Unconventional Tactics (Combat Aspect)

Kordath has learned the fine art of bar brawling in his off time, and the resourcefulness that comes with the randomness of the moment. He’s come to rely on his hands more than he would a weapon, but sometimes you need a tool to get the job done. If he can pick it up and swing it, Kordath will take advantage of it as a weapon, though he may not be very good with it. Dinner plate? Discus. Chair leg? Club. Butter knife? Still a knife, just...dull. If forced into combat, he will use whatever is on hand to better his chances of survival.

You Lack Honor! (Combat Aspect)

Kordath comes from a background of vagrancy. As a constant stow away and a member of a race often victimized, he learned early on that a swift kick to the shin, or higher, was more valuable for survival than learning how to square up and prepare for combat. He is more likely to try and hit his opponent while they’re down, or from behind, or when they’re blind, than face to face. Despite this, he has never felt a pressing need to kill those who stand against him, as he's aware a beaten foe can be a useful source of information. He's also well aware of escalation, and is hesitant to draw weapons in conflict before his enemy, as a scuffle can quickly get out of hand and lead to pleasantries he'd rather not deal with.
