Since her home planet of Alderaan got destroyed when she was very young, and tragically losing her parents, Kooki began feeling bitter. This was kept under wraps until she 'murdered' her grandmother who nurtured her throughout her formative years. From that very moment she became more dark and keen to seek revenge... at whatever cost.

Only now, she is beginning to open up about her past on Alderaan and Corellia and her hatred toward Imperials, since meeting Andrelious and participating in Operation Sojourn.

However, she remains hostile towards current and former servants of the Galactic Empire and its successors.

Kookimarissia is a very diligent individual. Since certain events have taken place, she has felt that she will carry out a task to its full extent.

Even if the task in hand is helping a friend or in battle, she will put her whole heart, body AND soul into it. If it is clear that this cannot be the case, then she will not bother.

Seemingly to most, Kookimarissia may appear stubborn and just plain irritating, due to not bothering with a half-baked effort. However, she typically disagrees with this perception of herself.

Despite being feisty and seemingly cold-hearted, deep within the hidden depths of Kookimarissia's soul lies a complex person. Her traumatic and unguided past has led to her having a split personality. On the surface she can be a nurturing maternal figure, yet underneath when angry she can be a very assertive and aggressive individual, often perceived as to be quite manic.

A straight talker and totally honest. Sometimes Kooki can be a little TOO honest for her own good. Due to not having much guidance growing up, she tends to make friends far too quickly and due to her complete lack of tact and diplomacy, can often lose them just as easily.

Rather than killing outright, Kooki prefers to severely wound her victim, getting a thrill out of watching them squirm as the colour drains from their body. The control this then gives her over whether her target will live or die is her way of compensating for the tragic losses from her past.

Despite her long term affinity for her DH-17 blaster, Kooki became more and more attached to using her training saber as her ascension through the ranks continued. Now that she has her own fully functional lightsaber, it has become her resort in combat situations. Without her saber, Kooki feels a much less effective fighter.
