While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Black Eagle's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Black Eagle knows that his small stature and age often make him appear less threatening and has learned to use this to his advantage. With a healthy mix of his boyish smile and his quiet attitude, he can trick his enemy into ignoring him altogether giving them a sense of security that he can capitalize on whenever he wishes. Though, at times where he needs to be taken seriously, He may find it very difficult to convince them to do so.

Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Black Eagle has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Black Eagle then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Black Eagle has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.

Black Eagle, due to his small stature, prefers to attack quickly and rapidly before an opponent can counter, overpower, or out finesse him.
