A young man of medium build, Adam is a brown-haired, green-eyed fellow who typically avoids dressing in the more conspicuous garb of trained Force-sensitive individuals. He prefers to instead adopt the appearance of many Corellian smugglers, often wearing flight jackets and other utilitarian clothing to dress in such a way as to be easily forgotten by those who would be searching for him.

Adam maintains a very particular attachment to the Jedi Order, or rather a certain Knight: a young woman named Sarna Varnis. Friends throughout the duration of their training, some Jedi believe that a Force Bond was forged between the two. Their relationship is extremely close and borderline romantic, and if forced to choose between each other or their ideological loyalties, their choices will always be the former.
There are some who subscribe to an unusual philosophy established by the ancient Jedi known as Revan, breaching both Jedi and Sith codes. Like Revan, Adam believes that positive emotions and passions strongly influence his relationship with the Force without giving himself over to it, and carefully walks the line of how he uses the Force and how it uses him in turn. As a result, Adam tends to channel positive feelings with the Force in place of darker ones like rage and hate, which may or may not be as consistently powerful as traditional channeling
Adam spent years with his master working in the smuggling trade, and as a result has emulated the personalities of the galaxy's renegade "explorers". A clever wit and a tendency to challenge chance is sometimes apparent, along with a keen awareness of valuables and a talent for self preservation. Adam also keeps a number of connections in the underworld as well; he never knows when someone from his past (friend or foe) might turn up. He's been to many places, and longs to roam the rest of the galaxy as necessity and whim demanded if he had the means.
Despite being an accepted member of Arcona, Adam can’t help falling into some old Jedi habits left over from being brought up by the Order. Though certainly not squeamish about combat or killing, he prefers to do so as an act of self defense, and stresses the avoidance of collateral damage to innocents as much as possible. He is prone to the occasional mild mysticism kick, and intermittently spends time meditating to collect his thoughts, or even makes lengthy sojourns to remote parts of the galaxy for training. He is also disturbed by Sith Magic, due to witnessing the death of the powerful Equite Etah d’Tana at its hands, and prefers to avoid its use outside of well documented and benign applications.
Adam's unorthodox form of Jedi training forced him to be more adaptable and creative when attempting to defend himself. In combat, his resourcefulness becomes apparent in his ability to improvise weapons (like picking up chairs, glass shards or unorthodox weapons like his chain, or using Telekinesis to manipulate larger or distant objects) or quick solutions in lethal or nonlethal fashions. This mentality was instilled into him through learning Jakelian.
Adam holds a great reverence for lightsabers and the forms of combat they are used with, and has devoted himself to studying them with intensity. As a result, he’s able to quickly recognize styles as used by opponents (though defending against them is entirely dependent on his skill against theirs) and deeply respects adversaries with a unique and powerful style. This respect goes to the point that he is willing to spare bested foes (to a certain extent, that is; he ends those beyond redemption) as he believes killing them would be a disservice to the art.
