Despite whatever all his other characteristics may convey, Vassago Shax retains the air of a person that is confident, if not arrogant. Minor (and often, major) things in his body language - his walk, his stance, his expressions - reveal these feelings. At times, it seems he borders upon narcissism, especially judging from how much he enjoys his own company.

Vassago Shax possesses a cold and completely uncaring demeanour. This will manifest itself in the fact that when push comes to shove,Vassago Shax will just as soon leave a struggling ally behind rather than put themselves in danger. While this may ensure his survival, it often leaves him as an outcast amongst his peers.

Killing has never been a problem for Vassago Shax; and he kind of enjoys it now, if he is honest. Killing's what Vassago Shax does, and he likes what he does.

Vassago Shax doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on his own. Vassago Shax sticks to himself, sets his own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, he tends to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to his comrades.

Vassago Shax is utterly devoted to success in combat, no matter the mission, no matter the cost. He has spent his life building himself in the image of war, utilizing a dogmatic regimen that has lead him to a single-minded obsession with military success and requires intense physical and mental training. This training, however, has come at the cost of anything resembling empathy or concern for others - even his superiors and subordinates.

Born with an intractable will and limitless courage, Vassago Shax will stand in the face of insurmountable odds and never retreat. Despite the fact that such acts of heedless bravery are inspiring and will sometimes result in victories worthy of song, just as often they result in his allies getting wounded or killed.
