Physical Description
Vadin is tall for a Gand, standing at a full 1.7 meters. He is broad shouldered, with a brown green exoskeleton. He wears his breath mask openly when not in his battle armor. He is also wider than the common Gand, and has a usual rounded head. His keratin covered eyes are a strange turquoise.
Clothing:
When on missions, Vadin wears a custom set of Katarn-Class armor that is painted with an urban camo theme.
When not on a mission he wears simple casual clothes that are very non descript. However, no matter what he wears he is always in an armor weave cloak that seems to have seen its fair share of use.

Vadin was once a member of the military organization known as the Tanduran and Dac United Commandos. He was an avid member of the Fourth Ranger Division, and had numerous achievements battling against numerous foes. However after New Tython fell, he left to become a Bounty Hunter, disillusioned with his life. He has come back for many reasons, mainly to help out the Clan who he worked alongside for so long.
While Vadin Cal will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Vadin Cal's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin, he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Vadin Cal's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Vadin Cal, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.
Vadin is humble, even for a Gand. He holds little value for himself, beyond a value for life, and will actively attempt to push aside compliments and his own achievements, no matter how spectacular. He actively despises the word I, and tries to avoid saying it at all costs. Despite his near disregard for his own life, he holds his comrades in the highest of regards despite any flaws they may have. This often gets him glares from people trying to stay in the dark, or those who think he should have more value in himself.
After losing his wife, although no one knows if she left him or died, Vadin has shown a side to him that isn't humility. He has demonstrated that he cares more for plants and animals than he does of himself. Having picked up botany, and even having petitioned to adopt a Rancor, he is often the target of ridicule from those who don't know him. Often called a "broken man", he wanders around content with his life style and beliefs.
A practitioner of Hij'kata, Vadin has learned to use its techniques with his electro-whip and knuckle-plate vibroblade, creating a style meant to take foes alive. While using this non lethal form of his combat style, he has been described as a monster, something between a Rancor and a Sarlacc. He uses his electro-whip to disable or drag foes in from mid range then leaping upon them, hitting non lethal though still debilitating areas with his knuckle-plate vibroblade.
The biggest issue with this part of his style is that it lacks in defensive capabilities, so while good to take a foe alive, it is not good for battlefield situations.
Vadin is an avid Rancor lover, and has taken to fighting like one when he does not care about taking someone alive. In this side of his two 'form' style, he gives up the electro-whip to focus on fighting with his knuckle-plate vibroblade. He uses it aggressively for both offense and defense, giving up reach for a more stable defense and more power. This part of his technique uses tight blocks to fend off attacks while using powerful stabs and long sweeping strikes to take out foes.
