Talis' imposing stature is contrasted by his kind smile. His vestigial eye sockets are covered with a simple tan cloth wrap. His dark peach, tanned skin only shows through his face and neck. Both of his arms are covered in intricate tattoos depicting his time in the DJB. A large mural tattoo graces his back and sides depicting the Fall of New Tython. His Light brown hair is cut short in a military high and tight with the top being a little longer than the sides, but it is nicely faded together. His sideburns fade into a scruffy beard that covers his jawline and frames his mouth well. His facial structure is best described as between Angular and filled out. He looks pretty average aside from the body modifications he has gone through.
Talis has spent most of his young life at war with one enemy or the other. This has taken a toll on his mental health and gave rise to a dark sense of humor and vicious behavior in combat. Talis often jumps and snaps his gaze to loud noised outside of combat. He also experiences nightmares and has on multiple occasions blacked out during any form of combat and harmed both allies and enemies.
Talis' ideology of war is by any means necessary. whether that be good or evil in nature. Talis believes there are no rules in war and that all extremes are warranted to end conflict. This puts him at odds with many of the light side force users and their soldiers. It has gained him some infamy among those who call him an enemy as the Monstrous Marauder for his evil and underhanded tactics.
Talis likes to harass his opponents and comrades alike with his colorful vocabulary. This often puts him at odds with his comrades with softer senses of humor and almost always goads his opponents into fighting more aggressively. This backfires on him when it comes to personal relationships and with his professional relationships in that he is rarely taken seriously and often annoys those around him.
Optomistically Oppressive. No matter how insane the circumstances are Talis over compensates in his confidence in success. His belief that anything is possible puts him at odds with realists and pessimists and it often gets him into dangerous and unnecessary circumstances.
Talis does not often engage in a continuous, drawn out fight. Instead, he prefers to engage his opponents for a short time, then disengage his enemy, only to reengage them at a different angle. As a result, if a fight goes on for long enough, his battlefield awareness decreases, making himself a more difficult opponent for his enemy, but also rendering himself vulnerable to attack from other enemies.
Talis Does not think his battle plans through. He generally makes it up as he goes, not sticking to one discipline or fighting ideology over another. He mixes in saber, hand to hand, and force techniques and abilities as he fights. This causes him to become overly focused on his immediate surroundings and his opponent rather than other threats. This also can cause harm to allies who get caught in the cross fire as he is fighting someone.
