Halmnak is a lean Umbaran with the trademark pale skin and blue-hued eyes. His black hair is kept short on the side behind his ears but spikes upwards to a layered point at the center of his head. A pair of twin black lines bisect his left eye which is the result of an unknown creature, and he has a light soul patch under his chin.
Halmnak wears sleeveless red robes that trail down the sides of his black fatigues and are held tight to his waist by a matching colored belt. His exposed arms are taped from shoulder to fingertip with black tape and he dons a black hooded cloak over his robes.

Despite whatever all his other characteristics may convey, Halmnak retains the air of a person that is confident, if not arrogant. Minor (and often, major) things in his body language - his walk, his stance, his expressions - reveal these feelings. At times, it seems he borders upon narcissism, especially judging from how much he enjoys his own company.
Someone in Halmnak’s past was killed and he has vowed to avenge their death. Should the object of his vengeance be discovered, he is likely to to do whatever he can to exact revenge, no matter the cost.
Killing has never been a problem for Halmnak; and he kind of enjoys it now, if he is honest. Killing's what Halmnak does, and he likes what he does.
All who gain power are afraid to lose it, and Halmnak is no exception. Some use their power for good, some for evil; Halmnak, however, knows that these are just points of view. He is on a quest for greater power, and uses all his skills and abilities to ensure his supremacy, regardless of the consequences.
Halmnak possesses a single minded drive for victory, and a deep-seated martyr complex. When presented with a chance to wade into battle versus overwhelming odds, Halmnak does not hesitate, and instead rushes in, relying on skill, fate or chance to let him survive.
Where most err on the side of caution in a confrontation, Halmnak prefers to charge in head-first. While others may skirt a battlefield or keep their careful distance, Halmnak rushes in with devastating attacks with seemingly no regard for safety, relying upon instinct and possibly armor to protect him from dismemberment and death during his all-out attacks. Halmnak is a force to be feared on the battlefield, leaving a trail of death and destruction. However, Halmnak's blood-hungry ways put him in far more danger than the normal combatant, often resulting in needless injury and suffering, trading safety for pure offensive ability.
