Her wavy red hair, streaked with find black strands, is typically worn loose. It frames a face that hints at nobility, with fine features and high cheekbones. She typically wears a small smile of amusement, though this humor is rarely reflected in her green eyes. Her skin is pale and unblemished. No matter the situation, Lucine's clothing is always expertly tailored, teasingly hinting at the curves underneath.
While most deal in credits, Lucine prefers a more powerful currency: information and favors. As an information junkie, she maintains portfolios on people of interest; the wealthy, the influential, and those with an interesting skill sets. She determines what it is they want and offers it to them, in exchange for a future favor. They get what they want, and she gains a resource for future use. Everyone has a price, and she does not make an approach unless she is certain she has an offer that is too sweet for the intended target to pass up. There is a risk that her target will refuse to pay their debt. It is poor business practice to give anything away for free, so Lucine will put all of her time and effort into planning a suitable vengeance for the debtor, even if the debt is relatively minor in comparison.
A childhood spent amid Coruscanti nobility has taught Lucine one thing: a lady is always pretty, patient and above all, pleasant. Years of training for a place in proper society has allowed her to cultivate a veneer of formality, charm and grace that she uses to keep others at arm's length. While the mask is useful for hiding a hot temper, a tendency for sarcasm and an impatience for foolishness, it also conceals her strong sense of loyalty and introspective nature. She maintains her mask consistently around strangers, though she occasionally lets down her guard for those that she trusts. Stress, fatigue and emotional distress can also cause that mask to slip. Those that have glimpsed her true nature are often taken aback by the stark difference in personality, resulting in mistrust and alienation.
Lucine does not believe in the expression 'forgive and forget'. She will reward any slight, real or imagined, with a merciless vengeance. She will not hesitate to sacrifice time, energy and resources to destroy any who have wronged her. While she will avoid killing the target of her ire, she will work to destroy all that they hold dear. Of course, not every plan is guaranteed to be successful. She will make as many attempts as necessary, until she feels her intended target has experienced a commensurate amount of suffering. Knowing her typical reaction, individuals may be discouraged to slight her. However, her no-killing policy has earned her a number of life-long enemies.
Power. It is the one thing a Sith reveres above all others, and Lucine is certainly no exception. But, she occasionally balks at the idea of performing truly wicked acts in pursuit of her own ends. If faced with an ethical dilemma, she will waste valuable time trying to find a slightly more noble way of accomplishing her goals. She draws the line at murder, and will go to extreme lengths to avoid killing an opponent. She has no moral objection to vengeance, but will avoid entangling ‘innocents’ in her schemes. Such behavior may appease her conscience, but her dubious moral code could cost her dearly in instances when there is little time to react.
Lucine has become a master of the strategic retreat. She will not hesitate to use tactics such as running and hiding to put some distance between herself and her foe. She does this to buy herself time to strategize and devise a way to bring down her foe. She views combat as a last resort, and if forced to fight will seek to end the confrontation as quickly as possible. Some would call it cowardice; Lucine prefers to think of it as pragmatism.
Lucine considers combat to be barbaric and will go to great lengths to avoid it. When left with no choice, she will resort to flirtation, trickery and deceit. A consummate actress with a flare for the dramatic, she has little trouble using Subterfuge and Manipulation to put her foe off balance. She will also direct her narrative with subtle hints of Illusion and Mind Trick to make her lies more believable. This unusual combat tactic allows her to use her surroundings and her opponent’s discovered weakness to her advantage. However, her over-reliance on this unconventional method can backfire when she encounters an enemy clever enough, or strong willed, to see past her tricks.
