Savant Luka Zarkot has reached the required 5125 Medal XP to earn their first Sapphire Blade!
Luka may not have the largest stack of word counts or competitions, but where they shine is in gaming. Well over 600 Clusters of Fire, and dottings of activity that include the last five major Vendettas — one for every year they've been in the club. They're a writer and artist, well-rounded in their capacity as a competitor and member. Everyone has their strengths, but Luka manages a balance that are much sought after. So to Luka, please accept this deserved award for your presence and participation.

Luka Zarkot in character may have recently found themselves with a new shiny appendage after losing an arm, but out of character they’ve earned themselves a second Sapphire Blade(5125mxp)! Since their last medal, they’ve participated in 21 competitions and netted themselves a rainbow array of crescents; 1 Diamond, 2 Ruby, 5 Amethyst, 4 Sapphire, 9 Emerald, 4 Topaz, and 3 Quartz Star Crescents. 11 of the comps were graphic ones, earning them 41 Clusters of Graphite. They had done 18 gaming activities worth 137 Clusters of Fire. And the all-rounder finishes with 11 fiction activities, 3 of which were fiction comps of a total 5,438 words, 7 rps as a participant with 5438 words, and 1 RP they organized that finished with 1,744 words! All of this activity has resulted in several society rank up, twice in the Shroud Syndicate, twice in the Envoy as a participant, and once in the Envoy as an organizer. To top it off, they passed 4 degrees as well.
Congratulations, Luka, on your Sapphire Blade! May the shadows guide your path!

I knew it was only a matter of time before I got to write one of these for Luka. I've been proud to receive all those emails of their work in doing shadow academy courses and submitting to numerous competitions of various kinds. Luka can often be found hanging around one of Arc's chats, ready to game, write or discuss ideas with others, or simply to chat. Very well deserved, and I'm looking forward to seeing your activity going forward!

Luka has been a busy bee in Arcona, stepping up to the position of BTL of the Selen Training Corp last October. In that time they have worked on continuing the activity push that is the DIA contract comps. Not only have they provided the activity, but they have made sure to promote and adapt it, regularly posting about not only the DIA comps but all active comps in the brotherhood for the STC members.
These efforts have taken nothing away from their own personal activity however. Since their last medal back in June, Luka has run 6 comps and participated in 126, 21 of which containers. They have completed 3 ACC battles and 3 rps, totalling up 10 Clusters of Ice, while also gaining 328 Clusters of Fire across 35 gaming activities! They also earned 100 Clusters of Graphite, completed 4 SA courses and earned 507490 credits for Clan Arcona. Much of this is visible in the awards across this time including 1 Crescent with a Diamond Star, 7 Ruby, 8 Amethyst, 12 Sapphire, 9 Emerald and 2 Quartz!
Be it their efforts as a leader or a member, Luka is a shining example of activity. Dipping into a little bit of everything all of the time, and a little bit of anything the rest of the time, I'm more than happy to recommend this Sapphire Blade. Happy stabbing!

Luka took the bold leap into taking up the Selen Training Corps’ mantle. And despite the nerves about being handed the reins to the new bloods of the clan’s vitality, they have done great with it. As Zuza mentioned, Luka routinely gives weekly activity promotions where they take the time to gather all of the comps currently running and present them in a neat, organized and formatted post. It looks so good I just want to steal it and pass it along to others. Luka has an interest in helping others find ways to enjoy whatever group or activity is there for them. They put time aside to help members figure a way for their character to get involved in an RP. They’ve organized a few gaming groups here and there, especially for Overwatch and Jackbox. Currently, along with the DIA comps they run for Arcona, Luka is providing a fun art competition that challenges the creators to use a select color scheme. They had several participants in the Dec comp and are likely to see many more in the future ones. Luka is a friendly person to get to know, and can be found joining in conversations of favorite video games and shows. They’re compassionate and supportive of the communities they take part in, sharing an interest in preserving the safe spaces they provide.
