Sulith is tall and muscular, large enough that even a typically hunched posture doesn't detract much from the overall size. The limbs are thick, with massive hands and long, digitigrade feet. All musculature and the general body figure are hidden beneath a long, dense, and ungroomed coat of orange-brown fur, which goes double for the tail. The fur only differs over the face, where it is thin and pale, and combines with the features to resemble the look of a lion. Much of the face is usually covered by an overgrown and untamed mane of dark hair, with just enough care for Sulith's brown eyes to see through the mess.
Due to a neck injury, Sulith speaks with the assistance of a vocal emulator. The sound of their voice may switch between deeply masculine or low-pitched feminine, depending on how Sulith feels at the time.
Having grown up in slavery, Sulith is unaccustomed to figuring out long-term plans, and tends to feel lost without a reliable, external source providing some direction. While they enjoy many newfound freedoms in this freshly opened life, it's still preferable to have someone trustworthy to lead them onward. This makes Sulith deeply loyal to whomever they choose to follow, but also indecisive and unreliable as a leader.
Sulith doesn't like to make assumptions about almost anyone. There are far too many people stuck in situations and obligations that may betray their true selves, so Sulith prefers to learn about a person more directly. This aversion to making too much inference (among other behaviors) can sometimes make Sulith seem oblivious or dumb, but as long as it doesn't sour any relations, that's perfectly fine.
Sometimes life isn't going so well, but no matter how rainy the day gets, Sulith lives in good spirits. Anytime they need to acknowledge something unfortunate, they try to find a positive thing to say in spite of it. Sulith is glad for any good opportunities that come their way, and tries not to dwell on the ones that have fallen short. There are ways to manage stress without wallowing in it, after all. However, this occasionally leads to forgotten details or problems left unattended.
When something is good, obviously more of that thing must be better, right? Sulith seems to think so, and it can be difficult to pull them away from things they enjoy. When left unchecked, it's not at all uncommon for them to over-indulge, develop new addictions, or unwittingly invade a friend's personal space.
Beneath the beaming smile, Sulith carries the hefty weight of a rough past and many problems left untended. More often than not, the preferred method of dealing with these bottled-up turmoils happens to be giving someone a good sucker punch - or being on the receiving end of one. It wouldn't be accurate to say Sulith goes looking for fights, but it's often fun to get involved in them. The longer a brawl goes on, the better it tends to feel. The thrill of the action can lead Sulith to disregard their own safety as a fight drags on, just for the chance to take another swing.
When lives are on the line, Sulith is incredibly protective of their friends. Despite enjoying a good brawl, they will do whatever it takes to keep any allies or bystanders from harm. If possible, Sulith will attempt to diffuse such a threat before it begins. It's only when these people are safe that more reckless behavior begins to take over, but Sulith will go down without a second thought if that's what it takes to defend them first.
