Calenhad stands at the impressive height of 2 meters (6.6 ft) tall. Time has taken its toll upon his body. His colorless eyes are framed by crow’s feet and a gaunt face. His skin is a pale alabaster, a representation of his advanced age and desperate attempts to extend his lifespan through any means necessary. His head is completely shaven and no facial hair grows upon his face. His body is covered with scars and blaster burns, remnants of service to the Confederacy of Independent Systems and The Galactic Empire.
Due to his long lifespan Calenhad has served as a strategist for both the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Empire. His service has defined his life and he finds it difficult to relate to the lives of ordinary citizens. Despite this he is well respected by his men for his years of service and refusal to throw their lives away meaninglessly.
Calenhad Mobok'tel has a sick sense of humor, viewing the world through dark colored glass. He has a biting sense of black humor, often laughing at things that most people would find reprehensible or down right soul crushing. As a result, those that are not used to his brand of humor often find Calenhad Mobok'tel downright unbearable or overly morbid. At the same time, his cynicism can be useful for seeing through the optimistic altruism of those he encounters.
Calenhad has lived a long time compared to the other races of the galaxy. The activities of most civilians and off duty servicemen bore him as he has experienced what they have to offer. Calenhad only truly feels alive when he is locked in combat. Whether it is combat of the mind in advanced strategies and maneuvers, tests of leadership to keep his men in line or physical combat between people, all of these is why Calenhad enjoys life.
Surviving the largest conflicts the galaxy has faced in the last century has given Calenhad an even larger ego. He views himself as a master of war, a savior against the Force Sensitives who devastate planets with their power. Calenhad views Clan Naga Sadow as a necessary evil, a group of Force Users that he can monitor as they bring order through their Sith Empire. But people are not pawns, and the years to come may prove Calenhad wrong. His delusions may one day prove his undoing, for no one is infallible.
Calenhad prefers to crush his opponents with overwhelming force. In both naval and ground combat Calenhad is willing to completely restructure the landscape if it means the defeat of his opponent. He acknowledges that sometimes this means that he will lose men but to him a quick victory is the best way to keep troops alive for the next engagement in his never ending pursuit of war. This desire for victory can blind Calenhad to the smaller picture, especially the plight of the native people whose lives he leaves in ruins.
Calenhad has served as a strategist for both the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Empire. Despite its known hatred of aliens, Calenhad was accepted due to his military prowess and tactical mind. While never able to match the legendary Grand Admiral Thrawn, Calenhad is no pushover when it comes to the strategic art of warfare. Calenhad’s need to test himself in combat pressures him into conflict, even when the problems can be solved diplomaticly.
