Khryso Mallus has been a rock of absolute Gibraltar-like proportion since I took over as Plagueis Consul. His work in the time since his last recognition two and a half months ago has been, to put it simply, stellar. He has been a dynamo of individual activity while also working on summit projects as well, further cementing his status as an indispensable member of our Clan as an invaluable Aedile in House Tyranus.

During the just completed Pro Bowl, he submitted to 24 of 25 competitions, earned 169 points and netted himself a seventh place overall finish out of the four clans participating. In addition Khryso was the primary point of email messaging for House Tyranus and submitting the weekly email blasts to the membership with updates on the event. Additionally, at the House level he has single handedly written and designed the Fort Dooku headquarters and the related wiki article and contributed content to each House report composed by his Quaestor. Finally, his Clan level tasks include bringing the Plagueis history section of the Clan wiki article fully up to date, with the final update also being used after minor edits as the Pulsefeed News Update for the Clan this quarter. Overall since his last recognition has accumulated a mountain of activity. He has entered 61 competitions in total while placing in 20 of them, earning crescents of nearly all types: 1 Diamond, 3 Ruby, 6 Amethyst, 4 Sapphire, 4 Emerald, and 2 Quartz. He has also earned three different varieties of cluster, with 12 Clusters of Fire for gaming activity, 5 Clusters of Ice for fiction (for his 2,515 total words of fiction), and 6 Clusters of Graphite for graphics entries.

Khryso is without doubt the absolute exemplar of what an active, engaged member should aspire to while at the same time being a stand out leader. His work in Plagueis is something that all of us here will not take for granted, and he receives this award with the thanks of a grateful Clan.

Khryso is the sort of member that can often slip below the radar, but to those in the know, is known as one of the clan’s pivotal members. His work in developing the Clan’s fictional playground is almost immeasurable and absolutely worthy of recognition. He had also been a long standing member of the summit until he stepped down as Tyranus Quaestor in August. Personally, I was sad to see him go.

In the more traditional realms of activity, Khryso is also outstanding. Since he received an Amethyst Kukri back in July, he has continued to show the level of activity he has always been known for. He has participated in 54 competitions, earning 1 Ruby, 3 Amethyst, 4 Sapphire, 5 Emerald and 4 Topaz Crescents, a return of over 30%! His activity yielded almost 190,000 credits for the clan which is invaluable as we continue to invest in our possessions.

He also earned 1 Cluster of Ice from his 518 words of fiction across 2 activities, 3 Clusters of Graphite from a graphics entry and 3 Seals of Ascension from the recently completed Great Jedi War.

He was also very active during the 2022 Pro Bowl where he participated in 22 of 32 competitions, earning 141 points and 4 Crescents. This is the level of activity that Khryso is known for and it is extremely helpful for the clan summit to know they have people like him who will show up almost without fail. With the way the DJB is structured, clans cannot survive without people like Khryso, and we greatly appreciate his continued efforts for Clan Plagueis.
