Primary reason

Ellac. He's more machine now than man.

That's an accurate description.

Since his last recognition, he has competed in 56 competitions, participated in 7 RP events as a player, run 1 as a DM and completed 3 regular fictions. He's passed 6 SA courses and gamed 10 times. He's even done an ACC Battle! He has ranked up in societies 11 times and has a handful of crescents to show for it.

What has really impressed me is Ellac taking on the role of QUA. Ellac has been QUA of House Caliburnus for 5 months. While the first few months were full of many learning opportunities, tired evenings, and balancing work and life, Ellac has gotten his feet under him and is beginning to stride forward on his own power. It has been some time since Ellac was last awarded, but his recent work has shown his dedication to the Empire.

Ellac is routinely engaged in our Summit discussions, where he has made recommendations for an upcoming event that will follow our Chapter 2 Narrative Campaign and focus heavily on the ACC. He and I will be working together to see that come to life, but the foundation was all laid by Ellac. Ellac has also helped contribute to the repository of Competition ideas that the CSP Summit uses to pick from as we run our weekly events and I have used in coordinating our larger narrative events. Essentially, we have a running list with Last I checked there were still 5 unused competition ideas ready to be implemented in the future, at least 5 previous ideas have already been made into already ran competitions by Ellac or myself. Originating the ideas for these competitions helps the entire Summit streamline the process of maintaining a healthy stable of competitions for CSP Members to participate in. Instead of having to come up with an idea on the fly, we can choose from the catalogue of ideas and then just type it up. Ellac's contributions in that department have been very helpful.

As I worked towards publishing Chapter 2, Ellac along with Kah'ri has picked up some of the slack and prepared a list of medals to be awarded for our quarterly review. Becoming familiar with how XP works and how to properly award medals and promotions is an essential part of being a leader. More importantly, this little effort makes my job easier. Ellac has submitted several medal and promotion requests, run several competitions (Ellac has 2 under his belt with another 2 set to finish this weekend), advertised those competitions in our discord server, and he's also stepped up to help dissolve a conflict situation before it could come to a big ugly head. All of these things are a part of the regular day to day for leaders with the DB. But with Ellac stepping up to do those things has been doing the little things that help lighten my load as Consul and allows me to focus on other areas and has really meshed well with the team we have built.

Ellac has also taken up a project for the Empire. He has undertaken a pretty monumental task of going through all of CSP's possessions cataloguing which items do not have custom aspects. He has presently compiled 25 item aspects and is working towards completing the list across more than just the Planetary possessions. Although the project is not yet complete, Ellac's contribution will help add some very real depth to our fictional galaxy.

The best part is, Ellac is doing so autonomously, like some kind of sentient mostly-robot. I don't need to yell at him to do things, he takes the initiative, knows the expectations and he executes on it. He's developing as a leader. He is an excellent team member and a valued part of my staff.

It is always a pleasure to see people grow in leadership roles and I am so glad to see Ellac developing into this role. I extend a firm congratulations and a "Drinks are on you!" . Keep up the great work Ellac!
