Of middling age (though young for her kind), Urie is relatively plain-looking—possessed of the archetypal Arkanian [Pureblood] look—with skin a shade of tan/sepia, her pure white, pupil-less eyes, the four clawed digits on each hand, and a comparatively lithe, if willowy, figure. Her most distinctive features, however, are her various scars and cybernetic implant: the former being various cuts and burns across her limbs and torso. The latter being obviously artificial – a plain, Cornflower-coloured “eyeball”, framed with a brass metal that comes over her right brow and cheekbone (oddly reminiscent of an eyepatch). Her hair (a pearl colour)—coming down to the small of her back—is usually tied up into some loosely-fitting bun or tail.
Urie Malfi is extremely competitive and strives to become the best at every task they are given. The benefit of this cutthroat approach to life and work is that they will always give 100%, pushing themself to their physical or mental limits to overcome any task. However, Urie Malfi’s overzealous ambition makes them insufferable to all but the most patient of companions, making it difficult to make friends while they either proves successful or utterly fails at being the best.
Urie Malfi has a sick sense of humor, viewing the world through dark colored glass. They have a biting sense of black humor, often laughing at things that most people would find reprehensible or down right soul crushing. As a result, those that are not used to their brand of humor often find Urie Malfi downright unbearable or overly morbid. At the same time, their cynicism can be useful for seeing through the optimistic altruism of those they encounters.
Urie Malfi is a lateral thinker, and when they encounter problems or dilemmas, they are very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Urie Malfi to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Urie Malfi can typically explain and lead others through their plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust them outside thinking.
Urie Malfi rarely acts without an alternate motive when it comes to lending aid or acting in a situation. Be it greed, power, or something else, almost undoubtedly Urie Malfi is after something more than what they say - though sometimes Urie Malfi is even blunt enough to admit to it. While their self-serving attitude comes as a boon, usually, to their survival and pocketbook, their relationships are often strained by their outright selfish attitude.
Urie Malfi, like most of their peers, has trained with a blaster though, just like any weapon, hates to use it. Instead, when forced to fight, Urie Malfi will use their surgical scalpels and anesthetics (poisons) to attempt to injure and incapacitate opponents. This requires their to get extremely close to their attackers and leaves them vulnerable to more maritally-inclined fighters and ranged specialists.
Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Urie Malfi takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario they might expect to encounter. Urie Malfi tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and they often find themself at a loss in situations that go beyond what they could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, their perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.
