When Centam Javik does things, he makes sure everything is done correctly, no matter how long it takes. This means there are frequent delays in Centam Javik's work, but it's usually done right, at least.
Centam Javik somehow always finds himself in tricky situations that put him in over his head. As such, Centam Javik always seems to be digging himself out of some kind of dilemma. While this speaks to Centam Javik’s ability to think outside the box to find solutions, his moral code often gets in the way of taking the easy way out.
The Jedi are selfless, caring only about others. Centam Javik is compassionate, brave and always strives to represent the common good. He tries to help everyone he can, even at his own expense, and is a fine role model for others to follow.
Centam Javik is devoutly loyal to his House or Clan and will follow orders unquestionably. He would sacrifice his own life to protect his House or Clan from harm. This attitude, however, often clouds his ability to see things from an arbitrary or objective point of view and he can come off as extremely narrow-minded.
Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Centam Javik takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario he might expect to encounter. Centam Javik tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and he often finds himself at a loss in situations that go beyond what he could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, his perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.
Though Centam Javik carries a blaster, he uses it only as a last resort. Having seen firsthand the damage an errant blaster bolt can cause, he prefers to use his lightsaber whenever possible, finding it to be, in the words of Obi-Wan Kenobi, "an elegant weapon for a more civilized age."
