I recently had the pleasure of working with Exodius as the Aedile of our House, Acclivis Draco. I had known Exo for a long time, but had never gotten to know him very well, until he was selected Aedile through a rigorous process that I consider one of the most difficult decisions of my one and a half years as Quaestor. Since just before the Rite of Supremacy: Second Darkness, he had been getting more involved with the Clan after a period of sparse activity, and he was rewarded with a promotion to the rank of Obelisk Prelate after the Eighth Great Jedi War.
Since that promotion, he has earned twenty Clusters of Fire, in attempts to ensure that Clan Scholae Palatinae is well represented in Gaming Nights, Inter-Club Training Events, and the Gaming Tribune's monthly competitions, and a Scroll of Indoctrination for helping hand out fliers at the Troy Denning book signing in March.
Through his two and half months as Aedile, he helped me make important decisions (such as helping me figure out who should be in what position) and contributed to the planning of a major House competition that had been originally designed by his predecessor, Cuchulain. During his time as Aedile, he also ran one of his own competitions, "Shenanigans!", which took place while I was on a Leave of Absence. His ability to come up with entertaining ideas while still ensuring the House's smooth routines demonstrated his capability as a leader. Initially, I had been skeptical about whether or not Exo would be able to cope, but he definitely disproved my doubts and soared beyond my expectations.
Although unfortunate "real life" circumstances forced him to resign, I know that he will be back to continue to represent Scholae Palatinae and its highest values of excellence and integrity, as he has through several years and events.
Thank you, good luck, and congratulations.
