Selika is a striking woman that stands just over average human height for a female. Selika's eyes are a deep violet color and are framed by her unruly, layered hair that falls just below chin length. Her hair is naturally dark black, save for a single lock of violet-dyed hair on the left side of her face.
Blessed with a lithe build, her movements are fluid and graceful. She carries herself with an almost regal bearing that many find off putting, but it is only an affectation designed to do just that. Her skin is an unblemished dark olive shade free of any scars or distinguishing marks.
Most often Selika can be found wearing a set of deep purple robes made of Ottegan silk. These robes are designed to show off her figure, which is a deliberate choice much like her manner. The robes consist of a stiff collared vest open from neck to navel. Unlike the tabard of a traditional Sith robe, this vest does not extend below the waist. Underneath the vest is a bodysuit of darker fabric that, like the vest, is open at the chest. Over both bodysuit and vest a skirt is gathered at the waist. The skirt is open at the front and extends to the ankle. The font of the skirt is made up of a separate panel of lighter paneled fabric of slightly shorter length. The robes are complemented by long, fingerless gloves that extend above the elbow and thigh high boots. This outfit is her usual choice for both everyday use and combat.
When a more formal look is called for, can be found wearing a strapless, ebon dress made of expensive materials coupled with long gloves and knee high boots. When discretion is called for, Selika will wear more standard robes. A violet tabard and black hooded cloak are coupled with a dark, baggy shirt and breeches. Though infrequently enough to almost never happen, she can still be found from time to time wearing her older combat attire. Colored in shades of grey, it features an asymmetrical jacket that hangs from her left shoulder and extends down below the knee over a set of boy shorts and belt. The ensemble is complemented by thigh high boots and a pair of long gloves.
As with many Force users, Selika Roh demonstrates special skill in one area over others: powers that influence the mind. Twisting perceptions, instilling fear, and reading the minds of others are all things that came easily to her. Other areas of Force skill, such as those that create physical manifestations of the Force such as Barrier or Force Lightning, have required more study and effort to gain proficiency in. Still others, such as the healing arts, elude her completely. This has lead her to favor mind affecting powers over others, often using them in conjunction with one another to make them more effective, combining Illusion with Terror, Telepathy with Mind Tricks, etc.
Selika Roh is a member of the royal bloodline of Empress Teta, able to trace her genealogy back to the leader after whom her homeworld was named. Her family, however, has never ruled the planet of her birth. That hasn't stopped Selika from feeling as if she should have been true royalty, with all the power that goes along with it. As such, her mannerisms and body language all speak to her haughty bearing. She acts like one who has a right to rule, and so she can often be off-putting to comrades or in situations that require her to work as part of a team. It isn't something that she often overtly states, but a undercurrent that flows through her actions.
As a Force sensitive, Selika Roh has a penchant for treating individuals below her as worthless inferiors. She feels that those that can sense the Force are inherently superior to those who cannot, with Force users being incredibly rare while those who cannot breed like gizka. Her perception that mundanes are a decicred a dozen means she will often strike out at them with little provocation, using her powers to horrify, terrorize, and even kill those of her choosing. In her mind, the lives of mundanes have little to no value, and so she will act accordingly. While she does value the lives of Force users more, she will still take their lives coldly, just not without reason.
Selika Roh has been driven to seek power her entire life, but until more recently she has been held back by the belief that wielding power openly makes one vulnerable. As she has grown in her power in the Force, and as her confidence in said power has increased, she had become willing to hold the reins of power more openly. She still looks to work via deception and manipulation to further her goals, but she no longer categorically avoids overt acts of power. Thus her personal loyalty to leaders and causes is even more tenuous than ever, as she no longer sees others as essential intermediaries to advance her own fortunes. This may, however, simply be a case of overconfidence in her own ability.
Selika Roh rarely goes for the quick kill to open combat. Her tendency is to maintain her Soresu-based defense to, ostensibly, wear down her prey. In reality, she is motivated as much by her desire to inflict pain and torture before finishing off her opponent. She will favor attacks whose goal is to be as painful as possible for mind or body before eventual death, using taunts or even the infliction of pain via Illuision to goad her opponent into reckless action. When her final strike does come, however, it will often be in the form of a swift and lethal application of Trakata. While her desire to toy with her opponents has yet to blow up in her face, it is likely only a matter of time.
There are those who believe the lightsaber to be an elegant weapon, for a more civilized age. To Selika Roh, however, a lightsaber is just as clumsy and random as any blaster. As one who has studied the Force itself in great detail, she knows that it is a far more effective weapon than any other. Whether with Force-driven assaults to rend her opponent's mind or applications of Telekinesis, she favors using the Force to impose her will. Using a lightsaber, or worse a blaster, is seen as insulating herself from her actions, making her weak. Crushing the life out of an opponent with the Force brings a more visceral pleasure, leading her to actively shun most any weapon aside from, reluctantly, her lightsaber.
