Selika Roh is a member of the royal bloodline of Empress Teta, able to trace her genealogy back to the leader after whom her homeworld was named. Her family, however, has never ruled the planet of her birth, first due to Imperial Occupation and then the democratic system that followed it. That hasn't stopped Selika from feeling as if she should have been true royalty, with all the power that goes along with it. As such, her mannerisms and body language all speak to her haughty bearing. She acts like one who has a right to rule, and so she can often be off-putting to comrades or in situations that require her to work as part of a team.

As with many Force users, Selika Roh demonstrates special skill in one area over others: powers that influence the mind. Twisting perceptions, instilling fear, and reading the minds of others are all things that came easily to her. Other areas of Force skill, such as telekinesis, have required more study and effort to gain proficiency in. Still others, such as the healing arts, elude her completely. This has lead her to favor mind affecting powers over others, often using them in conjunction with one another to make them more effective, combining illusions with terror, mind reading with mind tricks, etc.

As a Force sensitive, Selika Roh has a penchant for treating individuals below her as worthless inferiors. She feels that those that can sense the Force are inherently superior to those who cannot, with Force users being incredibly rare while those who cannot breed like gizka. Her perception that normals are a decicred a dozen means she will often strike out at them with little provocation, using her powers to horrify, terrorize, and even kill those of her choosing. In her mind, the lives of normals have little to no value, and so she will act accordingly. While she does value the lives of Force users more, she will still take their lives coldly, just not without reason.

Selika Roh has been driven to seek power her entire life, but she has also come to realize that the one who wields power openly is vulnerable. Having a crown set on your head is simply a signal to assassins that a new target has been set up on the firing range. As such, Selika has become one who desires power, but chooses to wield it through another via deception and manipulation to further her goals. She maintains no real loyalty to her chosen leader or cause, and is perfectly willing to move from one to another if she sees an opportunity to further her own power.

Selika Roh almost never goes for the quick kill in combat, her tendency when fighting is to maintain her distance from her opponent. Ostensibly, this is to wear down prey to avoid sustaining injuries once she does move in for the kill. In reality, however, it is instead motivated by her desire to inflict pain and torture on her prey before finishing them off. She will favor attacks whose goal, while non-lethal, is to be as painful as possible for either mind or body before an eventual death. While her desire to toy with her opponents has yet to blow up in her face, it is likely only a matter of time.

There are those who believe that the lightsaber is an elegant weapon, for a more civilized age. To Selika Roh, however, a lightsaber is just as clumsy and random as any blaster. As one who has studied the Force itself in great detail, she knows that it is a far more effective weapon than any other. Whether with battering physical assaults or tearing her opponent's mind to shreds, she will use the Force to impose her will. Using a lightsaber, or worse a blaster, is seen as using a tool that serves as a barrier between her and her actions, making her weak. Crushing the life out of an opponent with the Force brings a more visceral pleasure, leading her to actively shun any and all other weapons.
