The Amethyst Kukri is specifically awarded to people who work on various projects for the Dark Council. I can think of no one more worthy of this award than my praetor, Dranik.

Dranik has played a major part in many projects for the Shadow Academy, even before he became Praetor. He played a major role in Fictional Reality, helping to write up the project and code it up (see below for more on the coding). Dranik has also helped plan Shadow Academy competitions (the runons in particular). Dranik has served as an excellent idea person and in helping me implement the changes Ive wanted to make for the Shadow Academy.

Perhaps Draniks greatest impact on the Shadow Academy has been his extensive coding efforts for the Shadow Academy. He coded up the Shadow Academy Datapad, the largest part of Fictional Reality, in the process creating the Dark Vault (we are making plans to expand the Dark Vault, which will require more coding from Dranik). With the exception of one exam, the updated Test of Agility, Dranik has coded many of the new courses that have appeared at the Shadow Academy. Most importantly, Dranik coded up the Core Rewrites, an extensive project. To add to all of his coding efforts, Dranik has had to learn new coding styles, as he is not the most familiar with ASP and PHP; even effective coding in HTML is not that easy- learning new styles is even harder, but Dranik has done well so far and Im sure hell continue to learn. While he has had to sometimes delay getting things done due to real life, he does get them done.
I know that this recommendation is a bit short for the award being requested, but theres really no other way to say it. Dranik has worked on, helped finish, and started numerous projects as Praetor to the Headmaster. Dranik has a somewhat tough time as my praetor, as all of my former aediles did, because I like to do a lot of the hands on work myself. Dranik has still gone above and beyond what I expected of him, and what the Brotherhood may expect of a praetor (as the role of the SA has expanded), and contributed greatly to the Shadow Academy. There is no doubt in my mind that Dranik has played an instrumental role in the Shadow Academy, that he will continue to do so, and that he deserves something for what he has done.
