Idris Adenn is a very attractive male Mandalorian. Tall and thin, his lithe body is toned, tight, and muscular. His build is not focused on pure raw strength like a bodybuilder but built for speed and agility. His bronze skin is largely unblemished, save for a handful of scars. His hair is luscious and black, carefully maintained into a short Caesar-cut. A thin chin-strap beard frames his square face, along with a mustache. His dark brown eyes sit beneath a sharp browline.
Like the generations of Clan Adenn that came before him, Idris values the traditional views of the Mandalorians. Be strong, defend your clan, don’t be a coward. Idris’ word is his bond, and his honor demands him see a job through to the end. He has no issues with fighting, killing, or even torturing if necessary. Despite a quick temper and tendency to push hard with his personal vices, he exercises the restraint and resolve needed to do the job.
This has left him with a very solid reputation in his line of work, and a prime example of the capabilities of a true Mandalorian, but it as also made it incredibly difficult for many to work with him. Failing to understand his personal code along with his drive to see a job through to the end has alienated more than a few potential allies over the years.
There are only a few spectacles in the galaxy that can truly surprise Idris. Having traveled from the Core to the Outer Rim and into the Unknown Regions, Idris has seen more than his fair share of the incredible. As such Idris takes the new, both amazing and horrifying, in stride. Combined with having cut plenty of lives short, and a dangerous lifestyle, Idris likes to enjoy whatever spectacle in life while he can.
Many would say his lifestyle is excessive, but Idris is a man who knows what he likes; be it men, women, food, drink, or a good old-fashioned fight. If it is obtainable and he wants it, he will take it and enjoy in abundance. Death is inevitable, but that doesn’t mean Idris has to restrict himself. Until his death does arrive, he will live every day to its fullest.
The galaxy is a big place, with all kinds of life. Idris has had plenty of experience with all walks of life, the high and the low, the rich and the poor, the intelligent and the pond scum. His line of work often puts him in contact with the underworld’s slow-witted, selfish, brutish personas that so often find themselves working for the far more intelligent. These interactions have led to Idris’ tongue becoming its own weapon.
While the higher echelons of the criminal world either find him annoying or amusing as he quips his way around their lackeys, the lackeys themselves pick up on Idris’ less than friendly comments. Responsible for causing well above the average amount of bar fights, even for a Mandalorian, Idris has a really hard time keeping his thoughts to himself.
Arrogant is one of the most common words thrown around when people mention Idris. There is no doubt that he thinks very highly of himself. Idris never merely walks around like he owns the place, he swaggers. From the finest palaces to the lowest slums, he acts as if the galaxy’s spotlight is focused on him.
That isn’t to say he doesn’t care about other people. Idris is passionately protective of those he does care for, but at the end of the day, even in that regard, he is self-assured, confident, cocky, and hubristic. He is the hotshot to end all hotshots. Most are unsure if they should be awestruck or simply shocked as he wanders by. Some come to tolerate, even admire and love his bold self-assured personality, while others find it too grating to put up with.
Idris does not buy into the pacifist movement among the Mandalorians. Generations of warrior breeding has left Idris with a hot head, and a love for the uncertainty, chaos, and pain both received and dealt out of battle. While often seen as overly easy going and relaxed, Idris has a quick temper that has led to him being neck deep in personal altercations outside of his professional life.
He is a warrior, and his life is a warrior’s life. Buckets of blood and mountains of broken bones litter his past, and he knows more are to come in his future. Beating an opponent into submission or to death is one of the sweetest things one can enjoy in life. Idris is never cruel in combat, but he has been known to let a fight linger on just for the thrill and enjoyment of it.
Trained in the Mandalorian ways, specifically around combat since before he could walk, Idris has a full lifetime of experience behind him. He has fought, won and lost, more along the lines of a career military man than a lone gun for hire. Be it a job, his own temper, or just some good old fashioned brawl, Idris knows his way around a fight. This lifetime of experience has given him great knowledge and insight but has also hardened his will to see a fight through to the end.
Coupled with the hardline honor of the Mandalorians, Idris’ resolve to fight to the bitter end is nearly unbreakable. No matter the pain, threats, insurmountable odds, he will persevere or fall trying. This can lead to much more severe injuries or a greater likelihood of death. These consequences extend beyond himself to those who might find themselves working alongside him.
